According to reports, the new Yinxu Museum will be open to the public on February 26. Nearly 4,000 sets of cultural relics such as bronzes, pottery, jade, oracle bones and other cultural relics are exhibited, and the number of cultural relics on display is huge and diverse, of which more than 3 4 precious cultural relics belong to the first appearance.
The new museum is located in Anyang, Henan Province, across the river from the Yinxu Zongmiao Palace, and is a national major archaeological museum that shows the Shang civilization in a panoramic way. The exhibition focuses on the theme of Shang civilization, including three parts: "Exploring Shang Civilization", "Great Shang Civilization" and "World Shang Civilization", clarifying the development of Shang civilization, and at the same time has 4 special exhibitions and 1 special immersive digital exhibition. The exhibition focuses on the integration of diversity, highlighting the interest of the story, enhancing the immersive experience, and using artificial intelligence and other technologies to give cultural relics, documents and other new ways of expression.
In recent years, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage has coordinated domestic archaeological forces to promote breakthroughs in the study of the pattern of Yinxu capital, and the relationship between Yinxu and surrounding settlements has been further clarified, and the results of multidisciplinary cooperation and scientific and technological archaeological research have been fruitful. The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and other institutions have set up an expert group for the compilation of knowledge texts of the Yinxu Museum, and have carried out field research, online and offline discussions among experts for many times, and comprehensively and systematically compiled millions of words of knowledge texts, providing academic support for the exhibition of the new museum.
