"Su Guobin, our expert here, has successively maintained Jingyuan, Fengsha, Jingguang, and Beijing.
9. There are more than 70 stations on the West Long Line, and the footsteps are all over the ...... along the railwayIt's just that people are a bit introverted and not good at words. On February 1, on the way to interview Su Guobin, his colleague reminded.
After waiting at the door of the office for a long time, but no one came out, this colleague couldn't help but push the door into the house. After a while, a tall figure came out of the room against the door frame, a smile cramped out of his face, and his hands were still nervously pulling at the ill-fitting overalls. When he heard that he was going to be interviewed, he was nervous and changed his clothes for a long time. The colleague explained with a smile.
is not good at expression, but when it comes to issues related to railway wireless communication technology, Su Guobin still has more words.
Wireless communication in tunnels has long been a challenge in the field of railway communication, until the advent of leaky cables. A leaky cable, also known as a leaky cable, allows radio waves to leak out of the cable through slots or gaps in the cable, enabling wireless propagation.
In the railway from the Yingshan Tunnel to the Huaishuling Tunnel, the communication leakage pole was used to solve the communication problem. However, in recent years, the staff found that the communication leakage pole that had been used for nearly 20 years gradually cracked in the process of daily line inspection.
In September 2023, Su Guobin led people to conduct on-site investigations. There are 3 tunnels within 5 kilometers, and 20 of the 82 communication leakage poles set up along the way have cracked poles. Then the instrument was used to detect that some of the leaky cables erected in the air had begun to gradually age, and the radio wave signal was weakened. Old cables and poles need to be replaced to completely solve the problems of hidden dangers of trackside equipment and weak radio wave signals.
Su Guobin changed the traditional practice of laying communication leakage poles along the railway line in the past, and planned to use a combination of optical fiber repeater, mast and antenna in a location far away from the railway, so as to completely avoid the encroachment accident that may be caused by cable dumping.
But along the 5-kilometer-long railway, how many fiber optic repeaters should be placed and how many masts should be set up? Su Guobin and his colleagues climbed to the top of each tunnel and looked down from a high place, searching for the best spots. "Our tests have found that even tree branches and foliage can interfere with radio wave signals. Therefore, it is necessary to look down condescendingly, and the place that the human eye can see at a glance is the place where the signal can cover; If you can't see it with the naked eye, the signal must be poorly covered. ”
After the general distribution range is circled, the instrument and equipment are placed at different points for repeated testing. "Within 5 kilometers, radio wave signals can be covered! "When the good news came, everyone's hearts were relieved. But Su Guobin stared at the test instrument, still frowning. "Don't rejoice too soon! This program ......There are still questions, everyone try again. It turned out that Su Guobin found that in this test, they placed a total of 5 fiber optic repeaters and 5 masts, although they could achieve full coverage of wireless telegraph signals, but some radio wave signals overlapped. "Let's try again and see if it works with 4 units! Su Guobin wanted to find the best solution that could not only achieve full signal coverage, but also save costs.
In December 2023, 82 old poles were safely uprooted within the 5-kilometer railway line from the Yingshan Tunnel to the Huaishuling Tunnel, and 4 optical fiber repeaters and 4 antenna masts were officially put into operation. "In the past, train drivers and stations could talk to each other three times, and one of them could not be reached. After the transformation, it can guarantee 100% connection. Su Guobin described the improvement effect of radio wave signals.
53-year-old Su Guobin has always been the technical backbone of the unit. The unit entered the new equipment, and when he saw that the manual was all in English, everyone was worried, but he silently checked the dictionary word by word, and then marked the Chinese meaning next to the English description, stunned that the equipment without a single Chinese word was used very skillfully. No matter which manufacturer's machinery and equipment fails, he goes to "join in the fun", and when others repair it, he takes a small book and makes a record next to it. Later, the technicians from the manufacturer would not repair the fault, and Su Gong got started, and he was tinkered with three times and two times. Hearing the praise of his colleagues, Su Guobin always smiled shyly:"The railway wireless communication system is being updated, and we have to live and learn until we are old. ”
