At 20 o'clock in the evening of February 20, the Chinese Academy of Sciences' "Science Open Class" - Lunar Soil - The History Book of the Moon was broadcast, and the mystery of lunar soil was unveiled together.
Yang Wei, a researcher at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a lecture to young students across the country, in order to let students understand what lunar soil is and stimulate students' interest in exploring science, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education organized students in the province to seriously conduct this science open class.
The mythical story of "Chang'e Running to the Moon", to Su Shi's "I don't know the bright moon in the sky, what year is it tonight", and then to Li Bai's "Raise a glass to invite the bright moon", since ancient times, people have been full of longing for the moon and have never stopped exploring the moon. Therefore, when Chang'e-5 brought back that piece of lunar soil, everyone was excited.
Scientist Yang Wei explained the knowledge of lunar soil to the students, which stimulated the children's strong interest. Through his own research on lunar soil, he explained the difference between lunar soil and soil, whether lunar soil can be used to grow vegetables, etc., to compare and demonstrate and interact with children, making the classroom wonderful and interesting.
The short one-hour teaching activity made teachers and students feel unsatisfied. After class, the students said that they would study hard since childhood, and in the future, they would travel in space like astronauts and contribute to the aerospace industry of the motherland.
Through the "appearance" of scientists, this teaching activity allowed students to truly feel the infinite mysteries of science, and further cultivated the interest of primary school students in space exploration.
