Enjoy the New Year
Do you know why you're in pain? You want money and power, you want fame and fortune, you want others to love you, if you don't get it, you will be miserable, you will be sad, you say that you want so much, how can you not be miserable?
Everyone has their own desires, and it is natural to pursue a better life, but if you desire something too much, and become too attached to a result, you will become anxious, and the source of this anxiety and pain often comes from your excessive desires. If desires get out of control, and human desires overflow and cross the line, it becomes a disaster.
In fact, how much do you get in life, and how much can you get to be satisfied? If you are always chasing things that you can't reach, when your desires exceed your ability, you will blame yourself, the people around you, everything around you, and you will be miserable.
Confucius said that if there is no desire, it is strong, and tolerance is great, and Buddhism also said that life is impermanent, all laws are empty, and everything in the world is only for temporary use, and nothing belongs to you.
Then someone is going to say, I can't want nothing, not to say no, but with a righteous heart, to look at all people and things, when you treat everything with a normal heart, with the mentality that what should come will come, and make everything I want to become indifferent, at that moment your happiness will come back.
Life is not bitter, what is bitter is that we have too many desires, people's hearts are not tired, and what is tired is that they can't let go too much, said in "The First Flower"; Why not be satisfied with the shortcomings that you can't fill in your heart, not because you haven't got it yet, but because you are still in reincarnation, so you don't have to work too hard in life, just accept every day frankly, desire is human nature, restraint is cultivation, and reading this book can allow you to liberate yourself in the wisdom of Khenpo Xia Rongbo.
