Those things about going to the United States to give birth to a baby walked into the Pasadena campu

Mondo International Updated on 2024-02-07

HRC Fertility Center Pasadena was founded in 1988 in Pasadena, Los Angeles.

As the founding campus of HRC Fertility Center in the United States, HRC Pasadena Campus has become the largest hospital among the nine campuses of HRC Fertility Center after more than 30 years of development, and Pasadena is also one of the most popular hospitals of HRC for Chinese patients, with thousands of Chinese patients.

Parents who have not yet been here must be curious, what is the environment of the HRC campus? If you understand in advance, I believe that the anxiety and strangeness of prospective parents going to the ocean can be dispelled.

So today, let's take a look at the HRC Pasadena campus

Geographical location

The Pasadena campus is conveniently located and surrounded by restaurants. In fact, Pasadena's Old Town is just a block or two away from many of Los Angeles' famous restaurants, cafes, entertainment and shopping venues, making it easy to get anywhere.

1. Building

This red building is the location of the HRC Pasadena campus, with a total area of 2,453 square meters on three floors, of which the third floor is the HRC comprehensive office area (hospital management, doctor's office), diagnosis and treatment area (waiting room, diagnosis room) and surgical area (operating room, laboratory).

2. The entrance to the building

Do you see the big HRC Fertility sign at the pedestrian entrance?

The entrance to the entire building is here, and guests walking to the hospital enter from here.

Another angle :)

3. Garage entrance

To the right of the pedestrian entrance is the garage entrance to the building, from where you can pull into the parking lot if you choose to drive.

There are many parking spaces, you can choose :)

From the parking lot we enter the lobby through this door:

4. The front hall of the building

After entering the vestibule, you can reach the hospital lobby from the two elevators on the left side of the room, remember to press the 3rd floor!

After getting out of the elevator, you will see HRC's warm reminder sign in Chinese and English, which means that we are not in the wrong place

Walk through the long hallway, dangdang! The front desk of Pasadena is there!

5. Front desk

This is the front desk of the Pasadena campus. Coming to the front desk, guests need to register and make an appointment here, and wait for the ** name to be called after a short break in the lobby.

6. Rest and waiting area

Guests who have already made an appointment need to wait patiently in the rest area, and then according to the order of appointment, the HRC medical staff will lead you to the next physical examination or ** work.

Isn't it very different from the cold and overcrowded hospitals in China? For the patient's experience, the Pasadena campus is warm and comfortable, which not only ensures the privacy of patients, but also makes people feel comfortable and relaxed.

7. Blood drawing room

The first thing that comes to the guests is our phlebotomy room. HRC** will collect the blood samples needed to report the hormone levels and send them for testing, and the customer will be able to get the blood test report about the next day.

8. Sperm retrieval room

This is where the fathers-to-be get their sperm! TVs and headsets are all available. Dads get it.

9. **Analysis room

Opposite the sperm retrieval room is the ** analysis center, after the fathers have finished sperm retrieval, they can go out and hand over the sperm to the medical staff here directly through the window table, and they will complete the ** analysis here as soon as possible.

10. B-ultrasound room

After the sperm is taken or the blood is drawn, the young lady will ask the parents-to-be to go to the hall to wait for the name to be called again, and this time we will do a B ultrasound examination.

HRC Pasadena has a total of 5 B ultrasound rooms, every time Xiao C comes in the morning, the B ultrasound room is full, waiting for several days, and finally with the help of **Little Sister**, Little C gave you a picture of our B ultrasound room**.

After drawing blood and doing B ultrasound, expectant mothers are about to start entering the stimulation cycle. After the 9-12 day stimulation cycle, the most important day, D-Day, is coming!

11. Surgical rest area

This is the HRC's surgical rest area, where patients will be arranged to rest and observe for a period of time after the surgery, and then leave the hospital with their family members after confirming that they are in good health.

At that time, the young lady will close the curtains around the bed to ensure that each patient has their own private space.

Passing through the hallway, we were escorted to the operating room by **:

12. Egg retrieval operating room

The egg retrieval operating room is clean and tidy, and a large number of advanced medical equipment ensure that each guest's surgery can be accurately completed under the operation and supervision of the doctor.

13. Embryology laboratory

The eggs are sent to the embryo lab as soon as they are retrieved.

One of HRC Fertility's three state-of-the-art embryology laboratories is located on the Pasadena campus. A complete range of industry-leading medical equipment, which can provide the most advanced and high-quality hardware support.

Each laboratory is equipped with 5-8 top embryology experts to strictly control the development indicators of embryos and keep the technology updated to ensure the success rate of patients.

See that row of white jars? That's the liquid nitrogen tank, which maintains a temperature of -196, and the eggs, sperm and embryos can be well preserved inside, and even if they are stored for ten years, they can still give birth to healthy babies.

The "little blue box" that looks unsightly is the embryo incubator, which maintains a constant temperature, humidity and sterile environment. The baby starts from the fertilized egg and thrives all the way to the blastocyst stage, which is a veritable "cradle of life".

Okay, this is the end of the introduction of the Pasadena campus, I believe you have a lot of impressions of the hospital after walking around. When the time comes, you won't feel uneasy and unfamiliar when you go to the doctor in person!
