Indonesia GRS certification process, certificate cycle and audit form

Mondo Technology Updated on 2024-02-01

The validity period of the Indonesian GRS certification certificate is generally three years, during which an annual on-site audit is required to ensure that the company's production process and products meet the requirements of the GRS standard.

The process of GRS certification consists of the following steps:

Application for certification: Enterprises need to submit an application for certification to the GRS certification body and provide relevant information and supporting documents, such as enterprise registration certificate, production license, product quality inspection report, etc.

Preliminary assessment: The certification body will conduct a preliminary assessment of the information submitted by the enterprise to determine whether the enterprise meets the certification requirements. If the business meets the requirements, the certification body will arrange an on-site audit.

On-site audit: On-site audit is one of the most important aspects of the GRS certification process. In the on-site audit, the auditor of the certification body will conduct a comprehensive inspection and evaluation of the company's production equipment, production process, product quality control, etc. The auditor also communicates with the company's management and employees to understand the company's management system and quality control measures.

Audit report: After the audit, the certification body will prepare an audit report based on the results of the on-site audit. The audit report will record in detail the company's production equipment, production process, product quality control, etc., as well as the problems and deficiencies of the enterprise in quality management.

Rectification: If there are problems and deficiencies in the audit report, the enterprise needs to carry out rectification, including improving production equipment, optimizing production processes, strengthening quality control, etc. Enterprises need to complete the rectification within the specified time and submit a rectification report to the certification body.

Re-audit: After the rectification is completed, the certification body will audit the enterprise again. If the company has fully complied with the certification requirements, the certification body will issue a GRS certificate.

The Indonesian GRS certification certificate is valid for three years, after which it needs to be re-certified and audited to ensure that the company's products and production processes still meet the standard requirements.
