With the construction of long-distance transmission lines, the development of a strong smart grid with UHV power grid as the backbone grid has accelerated, the scale of cross-regional transmission has continued to grow rapidly, and the benefits of optimizing the allocation of resources in a wider range have become increasingly apparent.
The converter station is an important part of the HVDC transmission system, providing a place for the mutual conversion of DC and AC, equipped with converter valves, converter transformers, flat-wave reactors, AC switchgear, AC filters and AC reactive power compensation devices. In order to improve the operation performance of the power grid and ensure the stability of power supply, the converter station must be overhauled every year, of which the inverter valve overhaul is the top priority. The number of thyristor level units is huge and there are many test items, but most of the converter valve testers on the market can not match different types of converter valves, the operation is cumbersome, the workload is huge, and the on-site maintenance work brings a lot of inconvenience.
The operation and maintenance personnel of the 660kV converter station are overhauling the converter valve.
HMVTE-2000 Converter Valve Field Tester——The special testing equipment for the performance of high-voltage DC valves can meet the impedance test, short-circuit test, low-voltage trigger test of a variety of converter valves (suitable for most of the domestic converter valves, special converter valves can be customized and developed according to needs), as well as the partial pressure compensation calibration test of the converter valve, portable chassis design, light weight, small size, and easy to move.
Impedance Test:Test whether the impedance values of the two ends of the thyristor stage at DC, 100Hz and 10kHz frequencies are qualified, and the measured impedance values must be within the error range required by the technical specifications.
Short Circuit Test:A power frequency voltage of 380V RMS is applied to the thyristor stage for a duration of 40 cycles to test whether the thyristor stage is short-circuited.
Low Voltage Trigger Test:The power frequency voltage of 380V RMS is applied to the thyristor level, and a trigger signal is sent to the thyristor-level control unit or VTE control equipment by triggering the optical fiber, and the voltage and current of the optical fiber signal and thyristor level are detected and reported, and the low-voltage trigger test is judged to be qualified.
Partial pressure compensation calibration test:The partial pressure compensation calibration test for the converter valve is to calibrate the gate partial pressure compensation plate, and realize the calibration of the low frequency band and high frequency band respectively, so as to ensure that the entire pressure divider system has extremely accurate frequency characteristics in the general band.
