Recently, the "Sealing and Testing Museum" led by Changdian Technology was officially opened in Jiangyin, Wuxi. It is reported that this is the industry's first professional museum with the theme of packaging and testing, and it is also a new exploration for JCET to give back to the packaging and testing industry to help the development of the industry, and is committed to becoming a new landmark of science popularization in the integrated circuit industry and a new business card showing the style of the packaging and testing industry!
"See things, see things, see spirit".
The huge screen displays the important data of the development of the integrated circuit industry, and the application of chips in various fields is detailed on the drawing board of more than ten meters. The Sealing and Testing Museum is located in the Chengdong factory of Changdian Technology in Jiangyin, integrating popular science knowledge and modern science and technology to create an immersive visiting experience.
At present, the main display content in the museum is divided into six chapters, including "preface hall, development chapter, technology chapter, industry chapter, application chapter, and tail hall", which comprehensively and systematically displays the development history, technological changes, industrial chain layout, product application and future development direction of the packaging and testing industry, and presents an integrated circuit packaging and testing industry with a vigorous development trend and broad development space.
During the visit, the "Development" exhibition area left a deep impression on the author. Stepping into the "time tunnel", the magnificent struggle of the packaging and testing industry for decades is displayed on the huge screen in order, and the precious historical data, image character models, and concise text expressions come into view, which will fully present the representative major events, important activities and important products in the development process of the packaging and testing industry, and truly achieve the original intention of seeing things, seeing things and seeing the spirit.
There are more than 100 exhibits displayed in the "Technology Chapter" exhibition area, which are mainly composed of packaging and testing equipment and finished chips, silently showing the huge industrial changes brought about by the technological revolution. In recent years, there has been an endless stream of discussions and practices on advanced packaging, but the appearance of more than 10 technical paths in the exhibition area at the same time still makes visitors feel new - the finished chips using system-in-package (SIP), wafer-level packaging (WLP), flip-chip packaging and other technologies are displayed in order, becoming "star exhibits".
In addition to the above-mentioned electronic screens and physical objects, the Closed Beta Museum has also carefully designed a full-process model, a "Time Tunnel", and a "Closed Beta Express" that combines VR and 4D experiences to help visitors "talk about history", "feel technology" and "face the future", combining technology and fun to start a special time journey.
Create a sealed and tested business card to highlight the "Museum +" model
Walking into the Sealing and Testing Museum is like stepping into the historical corridor and future outlook of the industry, and the imagination of the microcosm has a concrete shape. This time, JCET took the lead in the construction of the packaging and testing museum, which is not a "museum of JCET", but a "museum of the integrated circuit packaging and testing industry", which is not limited to one family and one faction, but with a more inclusive and open attitude, it links science popularization, collection, exhibition and research, highlighting the "museum +" model.
As the back-end process of integrated circuit manufacturing, the packaging and testing industry is an indispensable and important link in the integrated circuit industry chain, and a key process to improve the stability and manufacturing level of integrated circuits. However, due to the fact that chips are highly dependent on the industrial chain in the production process and have little contact with the general public, the outside world is full of curiosity.
What kind of closed beta museum do we need? "First of all, an excellent museum can shape the industrial style, forge the industrial character, boost the industrial spirit, through the restoration of history, the combing of development and the prospect of the future, to the greatest extent to show the "spirit" of the integrated circuit packaging and testing industry, inspire peers, inspire future generations; Secondly, an excellent museum is obviously not "resting on its laurels", it is a door, window, and a passage, conveying to the outside world the concept of "chip finished product manufacturing is becoming the core link of the innovation of the entire integrated circuit industry".
During the opening of the Sealing and Testing Museum, Zheng Li, Director and CEO of JCET, said: "Over the years, the development of the packaging and testing industry has undergone earth-shaking changes. As a leading enterprise in the industry, JCET is not only committed to promoting the common development of the upstream and downstream of the packaging and testing industry chain, but also hopes to continuously improve the status and influence of chip manufacturing in the industry. It is hoped that the Packaging and Testing Museum will become a popular science base with long-term influence, so that the packaging and testing can enter more people's field of vision, and then gather confidence for the vigorous development of chip manufacturing, and jointly make new contributions to the integrated circuit industry! ”
Founded in 1972, JCET has successively completed a series of feats such as listing, going overseas, and mergers and acquisitions, and has become the "world's third" integrated circuit back-end manufacturing and technical service provider. With the completion and opening of the Sealing and Testing Museum, JCET has added a key piece of the puzzle to the blueprint of its industrial ambitions, and has also brought a foothold for more attention to industrial development and the development of JCET.
