What is the significance of the improvement in Sino US relations?

As two world-class powers, the relationship between China and the United States has always attracted global attention. For a long time in the past, the United States has always regarded China as an "enemy" and even sanctioned China in various fields at all costs, which led to very tense relations between China and the United States during that period.

Recently, there have been signs of détente in Sino-US relations. From November 8 to 12, Vice Premier He Lifeng, as the representative of China in China-US economic and trade relations, was invited to visit the United States and had several in-depth talks with U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.

The talks focused on two issues: on the one hand, to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, and on the other hand, to prepare for the economic outcomes of the meeting between the two heads of state in San Francisco.

The talks between the two countries were fruitful and decided to strengthen exchanges and manage differences so as not to accidentally trigger conflicts. This shows that both China and the United States are committed to improving relations and building healthy economic cooperation.

As a result, some people began to speculate as to why the United States suddenly expressed friendship with China, and whether it was implementing a strategy to delay the war.

Despite the grim situation at home and abroad, China still actively participates in exchanges and cooperation with the United States. In addition to He Lifeng's visit to the United States upon invitation, Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min also went to San Francisco on 10 November to preside over a briefing.

At the same time, the APEC summit has further strengthened the communication and ties between China and the United States. In addition, the China Grain Reserve Management Group purchased 600,000 mt of U.S. soybeans on Nov. 7, the highest single-day record for China's purchases of U.S. soybeans since July this year.

The improvement in relations between the United States and China is not accidental, but stems from the word "interests." Since 2016, there has been a bipartisan consensus in the United States to see China as a competitor and to take action.

However, as time went on, the two sides began to realize the importance of cooperation, which was an important reason for the improvement of relations between China and the United States.

The United States tried to pull China into the water, but in the end it found that these methods were useless for China, and instead made China stronger. China is not afraid of the ** war provoked by the United States.

In October 2023, the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was successfully held in Beijing, receiving wide attention and positive response from the international community.

The forum attracted representatives from 151 countries and 41 international organizations, including almost most countries in the world, which undoubtedly demonstrated China's pivotal position and influence in international affairs.

On the other hand, this also indirectly reflects that the United States has suffered a serious setback in the Sino-US war.

Militarily, the United States has constantly created a situation between the mainland and Taiwan, frequently invading the South China Sea under the pretext of so-called "freedom of navigation" in an attempt to create chaos, and at the same time provoking incidents in small countries in the South China Sea, such as the Philippines, organizing a fleet to intrude into the waters of China's Ren'ai Jiao without authorization, seriously violating China's sovereignty.

The real intention of the United States may be that it wants China to take military action first, so that they can take the opportunity to increase sanctions against China and use the international ** to slander and attack me.

Facts speak louder than words, and we can take a cue from the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Since the outbreak of the conflict, the United States has adopted comprehensive sanctions, including sanctions in the fields of **, economic, and even sports, which can be said to be all-encompassing.

However, China has always been comfortable in dealing with Taiwan and the South China Sea, and every conflict has been skillfully defused by China, while every effort by the United States seems to be doing "useless work".

Therefore, the goal of trying to "contain" China will not be achieved at all, and the United States will not need to continue to waste energy.
