Special report on the 2024 World Conference on Digital Education

Shanghai, January 31 (Reporter Zhang Yunfang) Today, the journal "Frontiers of Digital Education" (Frontiers of Digital Education) was launched at the 2024 World Digital Education Conference. The journal is supervised by the Ministry of Education of China, sponsored by the Higher Education Press, and distributed overseas by Springer Nature of Germany. The heads of the Department of Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, China Education Publishing and Media Group, Higher Education Press, Springer Nature and other units, as well as the editor-in-chief team of the journal, jointly launched the first journal.

At the launch ceremony, Feng Yunsheng, chairman of China Education Publishing and Media Group, delivered a speech, introducing the founding purpose, basic vision and goals of the journal, and leaders and well-known experts and scholars from the United Nations, China, the United States, Germany, Denmark and the United Kingdom delivered congratulatory messages.

It is reported that Frontiers of Digital Education (English) is an English-language quarterly, and the advisory board and editorial board members come from China, the United States, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Mongolia and other countries. Focusing on interdisciplinary research in the field of digital technology and education, the journal aims to uncover the evolution of digital education policy, analyze key research questions, and help address the pressing challenges in digital education and technological innovation. Topics of interest also include the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) in education, data analytics and learning analytics, ** and blended learning, mobile and micro-learning, digital equity and educational inclusion. It is reported that the launch of the journal will contribute to China's education digitalization strategy, as well as global education transformation, and promote the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
