Take the "revitalization of China's manufacturing industry" as its own responsibility
In 2001, 18-year-old Liu Zheng held the admission letter of Tsinghua University and entered the door of mechanical engineering and automation. The wonderful 4 years of college have passed in a hurry, and at the moment of graduation, even though he has excellent grades, Liu Zheng is at the crossroads of his life, and he is inevitably hesitant like many classmates: is he going abroad for further study? Or continue to graduate school? Or go straight to a high-paying position in a company?
"It has to be here! ”
Liu Zheng chose to enter a state-owned enterprise. The reason for making this choice is related to his idol Academician Liu Baicheng.
Once, Academician Liu Baicheng gave a lecture to Tsinghua students, and in the last link, the white-haired old academician stood up tremblingly, swept his eyes like a torch to the audience, and the old voice suddenly sounded: "As Tsinghua students, you should take the revitalization of China's manufacturing industry as your own responsibility!" This scene made Liu Zheng's soul tremble, and he secretly made up his mind to "revitalize China's manufacturing industry" as his life's goal.
State-owned enterprises put the national interest first, and only by going there can I contribute more to the 'revitalization of China's manufacturing industry'." Liu Zheng set his sights on state-owned enterprises.
It just so happened that on the eve of his graduation, the then chief engineer of the 211 Factory of the First Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group returned to his alma mater, Tsinghua University, to hold a lecture and exchange, and Liu Zheng came into contact with and learned about aerospace for the first time. The 211 factory in the mouth of the senior has a strong mechanical processing ability, which makes him yearn for it. Subsequently, he couldn't wait to visit the 211 factory. He stood in front of the behemoth-like CNC machine tool in workshop 1, and the shock in his heart turned into ecstasy: "It has to be here!" ”
When he returned to school, he was like a student who was afraid of being late, and with excitement, he submitted his resume to Factory 211 as soon as possible, and entered the process group of workshop 1 of the factory as he wished.
Grow in practice
When he first arrived in the workshop, Liu Zheng came into contact with various large-scale CNC machining equipment for the first time, and he did not understand many processes, could not use many software, and felt very unfamiliar with many systems. For him, though, these are not difficulties, but surprises.
There are not enough things to learn in school, so we have to 'recharge' quickly. Speaking of that youthful time, the corners of Liu Zheng's mouth rose.
The revitalization of China's manufacturing industry is not a utopian dream, and must be completed step by step in practice. Liu Zheng cherishes every opportunity to exercise in practice, follows the production at the production site, humbly asks experienced craftsmen and operators for advice, eagerly learns the relevant theories and software of programming, and verifies the learning results in practice.
At that time, Liu Zheng happened to receive a task of drawing and programming products. In just over a month, he completed more than 100 parts of the digital modeling and programming tasks, the rapid improvement of programming technology at the same time, but also put forward a unique modeling ideas, convenient design after the modification of the CNC program. Since then, Liu Zheng has taken a peek at the door in the field of CNC machining.
Diligence weaves not only success, but also progress. In 2007, 24-year-old Liu Zheng became the actual person in charge of the project of "Thousands of CNC Machine Tools Efficiency Project" with his superb technology. Combined with the development task, he introduced advanced cutting concepts into the actual process design and optimized the traditional process flow. In just two years, Liu Zheng's team has completed the first phase of the "Thousands of CNC Machine Tool Efficiency Project", and the efficiency of many CNC machine tools has increased by 20% to 50%. When the second phase of the task was launched, Liu Zheng became the main person in charge again and led the team to overcome a number of technical problems.
You're a genius! People complimented him like that. But only Liu Zheng himself knows that the harvest is fruitful and depends on the cultivation of "growers" day after day.
In 2012, 29-year-old Liu Zheng became the youngest deputy chief technologist of the 211 factory at that time, and everyone sincerely praised him as "the proud son of CNC".
The "strong temper" that does not admit defeat
Our generation of astronauts is in a new era, and this is a great opportunity for us to work hard and make contributions. Unwilling to admit defeat and dare to challenge, Liu Zheng, who has always maintained an optimistic attitude in the face of difficult problems.
In the aerospace field, there are a large number of parts that can only be processed by angle milling heads. In the traditional process method, the five-axis linkage function cannot be used after the angle milling head is attached to the five-axis machine, and can only be used as a four-axis half-axis.
Liu Zheng decided to overcome this problem. After a large number of first-class tests and demonstrations, he independently developed the five-axis linkage function of the five-axis machine tool with the addition of a right-angle milling head, which broadened the processing range of the equipment, simplified the operation process and improved the machining accuracy. Products that used to be processed for 12 hours can now be completed within 3 hours with quality and quantity.
In the context of the transformation of the world's manufacturing industry, China's aerospace manufacturing cannot stay away. Emerging technologies such as cyber-physical fusion systems, industrial big data, and radio frequency identification have gradually entered aerospace manufacturing.
Now, the technician of workshop 1 only needs to click the mouse and select the appropriate process module for combination, and he can complete the process specification compilation and work of a part in a short time. However, a few years ago, due to the lack of a universal process module, each part required a technician to model and write process specifications from scratch, which was inefficient and time-consuming.
During a visit, Liu Zheng found that the importance of software secondary development to process programming automation is especially applicable to R&D enterprises with multiple varieties and small batches of production tasks, which happens to be in line with these characteristics in the aerospace field.
Liu Zheng suddenly became enlightened and immediately suggested to the workshop for secondary software development. With the support of the workshop, he and the process backbone of the workshop unified the standard and made a quick programming module, so that the process programming work was optimized, and the intensity and difficulty of the technician's programming were reduced, thereby improving efficiency and ensuring quality.
Now the workshop has greatly improved the efficiency and quality of process programming. Liu Zheng contributed to this change. Speaking of Liu Zheng, Jia Shiqiang, the former director of Workshop 1, couldn't help but give a thumbs up.
The processing of the groove inner wall of some products is a long-standing problem that has been bothering everyone for many years. In 2019, Liu Zheng listed this problem as a project for optimization. Someone advised Liu Zheng: "How sure are you that no one has been able to optimize the problem for more than ten years?" Don't end up with a wasted mess. ”
Craftsmen are 'temperamental', and I am no exception. "Revitalization of China's manufacturing industry" is indeed not enough by one person, but if he doesn't fight, you don't fight, then it will never be done? Liu Zheng started the pilot program. In the end, he and his colleagues successfully overcame this problem and won everyone's admiration.
What others see is that Liu Zheng is working hard every day, which is both tiring and accompanied by risks. But he himself said: "I am one of the happiest people in the world because my job is my hobby." ”
