Today, I would like to introduce you to a simple and effective method, which is to relieve physical discomfort by kneading acupuncture points.
Acupressure is an ancient method of traditional Chinese medicine, which regulates the body's qi and blood balance by massaging specific acupuncture points to relieve discomfort. In TCM theory, the human body has fourteen main meridians, which run through the whole body and connect various organs and viscera. There are several acupuncture points on each meridian, and these acupuncture points are the hubs of the body's qi and blood. By massaging the acupuncture points, the meridians can be stimulated, so that the qi and blood can flow smoothly, so as to achieve the effect of conditioning the body and relieving discomfort.
In this article, I will introduce you to four commonly used acupuncture points, which are: Hegu, Zusanli, Fengchi, and Sun. These acupuncture points have a wide range of conditioning effects, and regular kneading can effectively relieve physical discomfort.
1. Hegu Cave.
The Hegu acupoint is located on the back of the hand and is an important acupuncture point on the large intestine meridian. It has the effect of dispelling wind and relieving the surface, harmonizing qi and blood, and activating meridians. It has a good relieving effect on headache, toothache, neck and shoulder pain, cold and fever and other symptoms. When pressing and kneading the valley points, you can use the thumb and fingertips to press vertically, and the pressure should be moderate, so as to feel soreness. Knead for 1-3 minutes each time, multiple times a day.
Second, the foot three mile acupoint.
The Zusanli acupoint is located on the anterolateral side of the calf and is an important acupuncture point on the stomach meridian. It has the effects of strengthening the spleen and stomach, replenishing qi and blood, dispelling wind and dampness. It has a good relieving effect on symptoms such as loss of appetite, indigestion, bloating and diarrhea, and soreness in the waist and knees. When kneading the Zusanli acupoint, you can use the thumb and fingertips to press vertically, and the strength should be moderate, so that you can feel soreness. Knead for 1-3 minutes each time, multiple times a day.
3. Wind Pond Cave.
The Fengchi acupoint is located at the back of the neck and is an important acupuncture point on the gallbladder meridian. It has the effect of dispelling wind and clearing heat, harmonizing qi and blood, and refreshing the mind. It has a good relieving effect on headache, dizziness, cold and fever, insomnia and dreams. When kneading the Feng Chi acupoint, you can use the thumbs and fingertips of both hands to press the Feng Chi acupoints on both sides, and the strength should be moderate, so that you can feel soreness. Knead for 1-3 minutes each time, multiple times a day.
Fourth, the temples.
The temples are located on the head and are an important acupuncture point on the gallbladder meridians. It has the effect of dispelling wind and relieving the surface, harmonizing qi and blood, relieving pain and calming the nerves. It has a good relieving effect on headaches, migraines, eyestrain, insomnia and other symptoms. When rubbing the temples, you can press the temples on both sides with the thumbs and fingertips of both hands, and the pressure should be moderate, so that you can feel soreness. Knead for 1-3 minutes each time, multiple times a day.
Through the above introduction, we can see that the four acupuncture points of Hegu, Zusanli, Fengchi and Sun have a wide range of conditioning effects, and regular kneading can effectively relieve physical discomfort.
