The calligraphy teacher is writing Spring Festival couplets at the North Five Girls Primary School. On January 31, in Shijiazhuang Beiwunu Primary School, teachers from the Painting and Calligraphy Institute and student representatives from Beiwunu Primary School put pen to paper and put pen to paper to integrate their good expectations for the New Year into the Spring Festival couplets. The social workers and volunteers of the Nancun Town Social Work Station and the staff of the Beiwunu Community Neighborhood Committee spread out the written Spring Festival couplets to dry, and at the same time rolled up the dried Spring Festival couplets for the residents who came to participate in the activity to collect. Not only did they exchange ideas about how to learn calligraphy, but they also integrated calligraphy into the community culture.
Writing Spring Festival couplets and sending blessings is a New Year's cultural activity that everyone likes to see, which not only promotes the excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also gives residents a special cultural "New Year's goods". Since 2018, the North Five Girls Community Neighborhood Committee has held a Spring Festival couplet writing activity every year. The Nancun Town Social Work Station and the Calligraphy and Painting Institute will continue to hold calligraphy cultural activities, fully integrate community volunteer service resources and community social organizations, and promote community residents to participate in the construction of community cultural atmosphere.
On February 1, the Cultural Station of Xizhaotong Town, Chang'an District, invited teachers from the Calligraphy and Painting Association of Xizhaotong Town to carry out the activity of welcoming the New Year and sending blessings and Spring Festival couplets at the station, sending good wishes to the residents of the district.
At the event site, the calligraphy booth was crowded with people, and 5 calligraphy teachers splashed ink to turn their blessings into a pair of auspicious Spring Festival couplets and blessing characters. A variety of fonts show their charm, a sentence of beautiful New Year's wishes, a different posture of blessing words jumped on the paper. Some of the onlookers selected their favorite Spring Festival couplets, some helped pass paper and ink, and some helped to dry "ink treasures", which was very busy, filled with a cheerful and festive atmosphere.
On the same day, the staff of the Cultural Station of Xizhaotong Town delivered more than 300 pairs of Spring Festival couplets and blessing characters to the residents. Many residents praised the event for a good run after receiving the blessings of the Chinese New Year.
