Accompanying parents is the original meaning of the Spring Festival Since my child left home to study in high school in another place, I chose to accompany the student. My husband went there on vacation, and my seventy or eighty-year-old in-laws at home missed us very much.
After the children's winter vacation, it is also just in time for the Spring Festival to approach, we returned home 23 hours before the lunar month, so that we can see our in-laws, have lunch together every day, accompany the elderly, and at the same time relieve the feelings of longing.
The in-laws are in good health, they can cook and take care of themselves, and the children are very worry-free. When I get home, I often go to help them clean up, after all, they have to clean their homes before the Chinese New Year to welcome the New Year with a new look. My mother-in-law has always rushed to finish the work at home.
Every day at noon, I would cook lunch for them, and the meals they cooked were all home-cooked, three or four dishes per meal, a little more, and in the evening they would warm up their own dinner. For ordinary nutritious and healthy meals, I try to take care of the elderly with less oil, less salt and less spicy, and rice, steamed buns, and soft cakes are cooked in a variety of ways. My in-laws like to eat very much, and every meal is delicious, and I am very energetic when I get their approval. The old man eats more at every meal, and he is happy, and he really likes to eat the food I cook. Especially my father-in-law, he praised me for making the best dishes in the world, which made me laugh when I thought about it. After eating, I was responsible for cleaning up the dishes and chopsticks, and my in-laws were quite happy.
I also feel very happy to accompany the elderly, because filial piety is a traditional Chinese virtue. The relationship between us is also very harmonious, the elderly have less to do, and more to think about their children; We also take the initiative to do more for them.
There is an old man in the family, if there is a treasure; Parents are here, not far away; Parents are always there. Home and everything is prosperous, we are a happy family.
