2024 ยท Haiyou Literature and Art Lecture Hall
Sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Jinan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Jinan ** Newspaper Group, Jinan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Jinan Radio and Television Station, Jinan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and hosted by Jinan Cultural Center, the first lecture of the 2024 Haiyou Literature and Art Lecture Hall was held in the multi-functional hall of Jinan Cultural Center on the morning of March 2. In this lecture, Wei Fanjian, dean and professor of the ** College of Shandong Normal University, was invited to lead his students to a vocal master class with the audience.
At the beginning of the lecture, the students demonstrated and sang the Chinese art songs "The Great River Goes East", "Fengyang Flower Drum", "Home", "Hometown", "I Love This Land", the opera aria "My Dear Baby", and the foreign art songs "At the Water's Edge", "Path", "Serenade" and "Swallow", so that the audience could feel the artistic charm of different vocal works at close range. Subsequently, Dean Wei gave a detailed explanation of the voice structure, the principle of singing vocalization, and learning methods. He emphasized that a "good" sound should be unobstructed, relaxed, and natural. In the process of singing, the accuracy of language, the grasp of style, the sincerity of emotion, the performance of the stage, and the output of culture are all crucial parts. Dean Wei expounded the thinking and experience in vocal music teaching in simple terms from three aspects: voice training of prescribed movements, voice modeling of prescribed tasks, and artistic expression of prescribed situations, and guided the audience to actively participate in the interaction. At the end of the lecture, the audience was reluctant to leave the venue for a long time, and they had more in-depth communication with Dean Wei on the issue of singing.
