The special drama "Kikimimimeshi - Kaunai Root Salt Tongue in Tanga Market, Suspenseful Flavor of Ramen, Ogura Revival Night Edition" starring Takeshi Hamada will be broadcast on Nishinihon TV on March 19.
The work is a "delusional" food drama in which the protagonist comes to Fukuoka on a business trip and unfolds his own fantasies based on a conversation he overhears at a bar. In the third installment of the series, the scene shifts from Fukuoka City to Kitakyushu City and Kokura, and Hamada continues the previous work, playing Kenta Yamada, an office worker who works at a medium-sized travel agency. On a business trip to Kitakyushu City, Donta passed by a corner bar in Tanga Market, a long-established yakiniku restaurant, and a department store, where he encountered all sorts of things. The cast also includes Shinju Ozawa, Yuko Nakazawa, Akimasa Haraguchi and Fumizu Wada (Nelson). The theme song is Rinwen's "Tarafuku".
I was so happy when I heard that there was going to be a sequel, and I was honestly happy to be back. Kitakyushu movies are very popular, and this is the third time I've come to Kitakyushu in ten years.
I hope that people all over the country will be able to see that we are able to shoot in a luxurious environment with the cooperation of the staff at the store, and I hope that as many people as possible will be interested and come to Fukuoka.
If there is a next work, I will also shoot on location (laughs).
It's a questionable role, but because I've played a lot of these roles, I don't have to worry about it being weird and have a lot of fun.
However, it was the first time I performed the action of "taking off the gloves with my mouth", so I learned while watching the past footage, which was a fun new challenge.
It was my first time working with my partner Akimasa Haraguchi, but she put me at ease as she carelessly cleaned up the vinegar I had spilled.
Mr. Hamada is the same person as the one you see in his play, but being able to work with him on the same screen is like a dream, and it's a great experience. We rented a real restaurant and ate real food, and the real part of the food was on full display, so it would be nice if everyone could feel like they were really eating at that restaurant. I think you're going to love it.
I'm from Kitakyushu City, so it's nice to hear Mt. Hamada say the words "Inotsuya" and "Kitakyushu City". I think Kitakyushu City is also very happy to get a place.
It was my first time co-starring with Mr. Ozawa, and I was really nervous. The director told me to "create a character with strong quirks," so when I did it in real life, I said, "Can I ask you to downplay your quirks a little bit?" ”
Although the character played is very strong, he also works hard, so the amount of lines is quite large. I've never read the script because there are usually no skit scripts, so it's hard for me to remember it.
I failed about ten times in the first scene, but the second half got more interesting and I wanted to do it over and over again. If there is another offer, I will definitely give it to "kikimimimeshi"!
