At about 6:30 on February 28, the Park Squadron of the Traffic Police Brigade of the Hong'an County Public Security Bureau received a report from the masses that a traffic accident occurred in a road section of Miersi Town where a car collided with a two-wheeled electric vehicle, and the car had fled the scene, and the driver of the electric car was injured in the accident.
The police quickly arrived at the scene and found that the electric car had fallen on the side of the road, the driver was injured and lying on the ground, and some vehicle detached objects were left on the ground. The police immediately contacted 120 ambulance vehicles to send the injured to the hospital for emergency treatment.
After preliminary investigation, the time of the crime was around 6 o'clock in the morning, due to the dark sky and the lack of eyewitnesses around, no other valuable information was found at the scene except for the scattered plastic fragments, which brought certain difficulties to the investigation of the case. In order to solve the case as soon as possible, the police revisited the scene and looked for valuable clues, and at the same time retrieved the accident scene and the surrounding intersection monitoring ** for repeated comparison, layer by layer screening, and quickly locked the accident vehicle as a Toyota silver-gray car. The police found that the car had fled to Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, and the police rushed to Xinzhou District to find the vehicle that caused the accident. 
After two hours of searching for it, the police finally found the vehicle in an auto repair shop in Xinzhou District and locked up the suspect Wang Moumou. In the face of a large amount of evidence and facts, Wang Moumou confessed to the fact of the traffic hit-and-run on February 28.

After receiving the police, the police immediately went to the scene of the accident to carry out an investigation, in order to bring the hit-and-run person to justice as soon as possible, the police combined with the debris left at the scene of the crime, formulated an investigation plan, through the collection of surrounding monitoring**, visited the nearby people, and finally locked the vehicle that caused the accident as a Chevrolet white car. Following this clue, the police followed the line, and finally found the vehicle that caused the accident in a community in Baliwan Town, and the police immediately notified the driver Zhang Moumou to go to the scene for investigation.
After arriving at the case, Zhang Moumou confessed to the fact that he was in a hit-and-run traffic accident, "because I was worried that the medical expenses would be too expensive, I was afraid of losing money, and I felt that the police might not necessarily find me, so I ran away with a fluke mentality." "After investigation, Zhang MoumouDue to the excessive speed of the vehicle and the operation error during the turning, it collided with a pedestrian on the road. After the accident, Zhang Moumou fled the scene by car, regardless of the safety of the injured.
So far, this traffic hit-and-run case has been successfully solved through the meticulous investigation and continuous struggle of the police, and the case is being further investigated.

Hit-and-run is hard to escape
1.The traffic hit-and-run person will be fully responsible.
According to Article 92 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China:If a party escapes after a traffic accident occurs, the party who escapes bears full responsibilityRen。However, if there is evidence to prove that the other party is also at fault, the liability may be mitigated. Where parties intentionally destroy or falsify the scene or destroy evidence, they bear full responsibility.
In some hit-and-run traffic accidents, the driver may only bear secondary responsibility or even no responsibility, but if the responsibility for the traffic accident cannot be determined because of the escape, the driver will bear all the responsibility for the traffic accident.
2.Traffic hit-and-run will be paid out of pocket.
According to the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People's Republic of China and the Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Personal Injury Compensation Cases, if the vehicle involved in the accident is insured by vehicle insurance, the insurance company has the obligation to pay the compensation in advance after a traffic accident. However, if the vehicle involved in the accident escapes, it shall be agreed in the "Insurance Contract".The insurance company will no longer bear the insurance liability, and will only compensate the victim within the scope of compulsory traffic insurance, and the insufficient part can only be paid by the car owner himself.
3.The legal consequences of a traffic hit-and-run are enormous.

4.The crime of traffic accident and escape is aggravated.
According to article 133 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, whoever violates the traffic and transportation management regulations, thereby causing a major accident, causing serious injury or death, or causing major losses to public or private property, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or short-term detention; Fleeing after a traffic accident or having other particularly heinous circumstancesshall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years; Whoever causes death as a result of escape shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not less than seven yearsPunishment.
