Before leaving for Beijing to participate in the conference, Xie Rupeng, a representative of the National People's Congress and general manager of Zhongyan Ecological Agriculture in Yangchun City, Yangjiang, prepared a "svenile" in his bag: colorful eggs from his own farm. Since 2016, the scale of his green-shell layer farm has become larger and larger, driving the surrounding villagers to increase their income and become rich. "I hope that more people will know Greenshell Egg, and I hope to share our story with you. He said.

Since being elected as a deputy to the National People's Congress, Xie Rupeng has always focused on the revitalization of rural industries. "I have been rooted in the front line of agricultural production for many years, and I have been thinking about how to cultivate and develop characteristic industries. This year, he will focus on the construction of rural talent teams and the cultivation of local characteristic industries.

Just a few days ago, some villagers called to report the situation, hoping that I could bring their voices to the two sessions of the National People's Congress. Xie Rupeng said that as a grassroots representative from the countryside, he should not only strive to play an exemplary role in the practice of rural revitalization, but also focus on topics in the rural field, start from small incisions, and promote the solution of industrial development pain points and villagers' urgent problems.

Continue to pay attention to the construction of rural talent team.

The seedling technology is becoming more and more mature, and the survival rate of this batch of chicks is over 98%, with high uniformity, and the quality of egg production is guaranteed in the future. In the early morning of March 1, Xie Rupeng came to the farm early to check the growth of the chicks, check the quality of the eggs, and write down work notes.

Xie Rupeng was born and raised in the countryside. In 2013, after obtaining a master's degree in nutrition and food hygiene from Nanchang University, he went to work for a foreign company in the Pearl River Delta. In 2016, he returned to his hometown of Bajia Town, Yangchun City to start a business. Today, he and his partners run five green-shell layer farms with a total breeding scale of 140,000 birds.

Rooted in the front line of production for a long time, Xie Rupeng realized that to consolidate the industrial foundation for the comprehensive revitalization of the countryside, it is necessary to accelerate the cultivation of new agricultural business entities and service subjects. "When I went deep into the field, I found that attracting more talents to serve the countryside and agriculture, including experienced industry leaders and technical professionals, is the common aspiration of many farmers. ”

At last year's National People's Congress and the National People's Congress, Xie Rupeng submitted a proposal calling for the excavation and cultivation of "leading" and "practical" rural industry leaders. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said in its reply that it will adhere to the combination of local training and external introduction, actively improve the working mechanism and support policies for agricultural and rural talents, continuously expand the rural talent team, and provide talent support for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating the construction of an agricultural power.

It can be seen that the relevant departments attach great importance to the suggestions of the NPC deputies, and this encourages me to perform my duties more diligently in the future. Xie Rupeng said. After returning to Yangchun, focusing on the topic of cultivating and strengthening the policy support for agricultural and rural talents in rural industry revitalization, he went to the village many times to carry out investigation and research, and combined with the thoughts and feelings in the process of developing the green shell layer industry, he did a good job of summarizing and sorting, hoping to put forward targeted and constructive suggestions.

Focus on the high-quality development of rural industries.

To help rural revitalization, the development of characteristic industries is an important part. In the past year, focusing on the needs of the development of rural characteristic industries, Xie Rupeng has participated in the centralized inspection activities organized by the provincial and municipal people's congresses for many times, investigated a number of characteristic agricultural enterprises on the spot, and communicated with practitioners face-to-face.

Investigation and research are deep, and suggestions can be accurate. Xie Rupeng said that only by really going to the field and the production line, accurately understanding the needs of the masses and enterprises, and finding the crux of the problem, can we find a "good solution" to solve the problem. "In the past year, my horizons have gradually broadened, and my focus has expanded from green-shell laying hens to other special agricultural products in the province. He said.

In January this year, Xie Rupeng found that the local traditional fruit Mashui Mandarin was harmed by citrus huanglongbing, resulting in a decline in planting area and yield, which weakened the competitiveness of Mashui Mandarin in the citrus market.

Only by doing a good job in pest control can we improve the yield and quality of mandarin oranges and reduce the cost of planting. Xie Rupeng suggested that the cooperation between agricultural research institutions, agriculture-related universities and planting bases should be strengthened to form a greater synergy in pest control; At the same time, it is necessary to increase technology demonstration, publicity and promotion and technical training through platforms such as farmer field schools, cultivate a group of "soil experts" and "Tian Xiucai" who are rooted in the front line, and open up the "last mile" of pest control.

In addition to finding ideas during field visits, various industry reports also provided important material for Xie Rupeng to write representative suggestions. After consulting a large number of data, he found that many characteristic planting industries have shortcomings such as weak breeding foundation, imperfect breeding system, and unstable production, which are difficult to form a scale effect.

During the two sessions of the National People's Congress this year, Xie Rupeng plans to submit a proposal, calling on the first department to increase financial support for the breeding of characteristic seedlings, and should also encourage professional breeding companies, scientific research institutes and planting bases to carry out joint research on rural characteristic industry breeding, establish and improve the cooperation mechanism of the integration of production, education and research, and connect the breeding, industrial management, and variety promotion into one, shorten the introduction cycle of characteristic and high-quality varieties breeding, and boost the development of local characteristic industries.

Reporter's Notes. The "two-way run" behind an egg

A small egg embodies Xie Rupeng's love for the countryside, carries his thinking and exploration of the development of rural industries, and is also the key word in his diary. He continued to pay attention to the "three rural" fields, hoping to provide useful words and pragmatic policies for the development of agricultural characteristic industries.

In the exchange with Xie Rupeng, "talent" and "technology" are the words he frequently mentioned. From giving full play to his expertise to return to his hometown to start a business, to in-depth research in the field and the production line of enterprises, and using science and technology to empower agricultural development, he has always adhered to his belief. "The development of modern agriculture needs professionals, and young people need a broad space for growth, which is a 'two-way rush'. He said.

Interviews with experts, analysis of industry reports, ......In Xie Rupeng, he not only shows the feelings and determination of the "new farmers" to revitalize their hometown, but also the ability and vision to become a "prosperous farmer". In the future, we look forward to more energetic young people like Xie Rupeng to release their passion in the vast countryside and play the song of rural revitalization.
