Sony released the new TOUGH CFexpress Type B memory card, priced from 4399 yuan

IT Home reported on March 6 that Sony (China) today released the high-performance and large-capacity TOUGH rugged specification G series CFexpress Type B memory cards CEB-G480T and CEB-G240T.

Available in 480GB and 240GB capacities, the two new cards support up to 1850MB s read and 1750 MB s and 1600 MB s write speeds, respectively. It has excellent bending and drop resistance, with 5 times the drop strength and 3 times the flexural strength. At the same time, Sony CEB-G480T and CEB-G240T memory cards are resistant to cold and heat, X-rays, static, and ultraviolet rays, among others.

Sony's CEB-G480T and CEB-G240T memory cards support fast data transfer to a computer via the CFexpress Type B card reader MRW-G1 (sold separately), allowing users to work more efficiently with footage and increase productivity.

In order to protect the user's data security and further improve the protection plan, both memory cards also support memory card life detection and data recovery through the Media Scan Utility software. With the MRW-G1 card reader (sold separately), the software automatically scans the CFexpress Type B memory card, providing information such as card status and remaining space. Users can also recover accidentally deleted data such as ** and ** through Memory Card File Rescue software.

IT Home learned from the official that the two new memory card products will be available in April 2024, with a 480GB MSRP of 6,999 yuan and a 240GB MSRP of 4,399 yuan.
