IT Home News on March 7, the domestic commercial aerospace company Blue Arrow Aerospace announced today that the Zhuque No. 2 02 batch of Yao-1 launch vehicle two-stage engines completed the assembly and acceptance work at the Huzhou Blue Arrow Aerospace Power Manufacturing Base, as the first Tianque A engine, will be unveiled at the Jiaxing Blue Arrow Space Center and start rocket work.
Previously, the second-stage engine of the 02 batch of Yao-1 launch vehicle of the Suzaku No. 2 has completed the acceptance test, and the engine works stably, the variable thrust process is reliable, and all the performance meets the design requirements.
According to reports, the Suzaku No. 2 02 batch of Yao-1 launch vehicles are equipped with Tianque A engines for the first time. Compared with the second-stage configuration of the 01 batch of rockets "1 Tianque 80-ton engine + 1 Tianque 10-ton engine", the 02 batch was changed to only 1 Tianque 80-ton improved vacuum engine (codenamed Tianque 15A) to provide second-stage power, and its vacuum thrust was increased by 118%, the vacuum specific impulse is increased by 126m s, and it has 60% 100% thrust adjustment ability and multiple starting capability, which can improve the rocket carrying capacity and realize the multi-mission requirements of the rocket, which is more suitable for the needs of the rocket commercial market.
On the basis of fully inheriting the technology of Tianque engine, the system scheme, layout and component structure are optimized, and key components such as control valves and large nozzles are newly developed to meet the needs of multiple starts, deep thrust changes and performance improvement of rockets.
The Tianque A engine family includes Tianque 12A, Tianque 13A and Tianque 15A engines, of which the Tianque 13A engine is composed of four Tianque 12A engines in parallel. Compared with the Tianque 12 engine, the Tianque 12A engine has 9% more thrust, 40m s higher specific impulse, and 100kg less weight. At present, the Tianque A engine has completed all the development tasks and has successfully entered the stage of mass production and delivery.
Blue Arrow Aerospace said that in the early development work, the Tianque 12A and 15A engines were tested for hot commissioning of 9 prototypes, with a cumulative test time of more than 10,000 seconds and a maximum test time of 2,460 seconds. The Tianque A engine has completed the boundary working conditions, limit conditions, and multiple starting assessments, and successfully passed the matching verification assessment with the servo mechanism and the regulating controller. Breakthroughs have been made in all key technologies of the Tianque A engine, laying a solid foundation for the development of reusable rockets.
IT Home learned from the announcement that the Blue Arrow Aerospace Power Manufacturing Base, located in Huzhou, Zhejiang, undertook the assembly and test tasks of the engine and its components. Improve production efficiency through process optimization; Standardization of inspection process and comprehensive control of quality; R&D, process, and on-site work closely together to achieve rapid product delivery, and currently have the mass production capacity to deliver one engine in 10 days. In order to make the engine transportation process more convenient and reliable, the delivery status of the Tianque 15A engine has also been improved, and for the first time, the stand-alone vertical transportation mode without frame modules has been realized.
With the completion of the assembly of the Tianque-15A engine, the Suzaku 2 02 batch of Yao-1 launch vehicles is about to start full arrow**.
