It's "Women's Day" again.

In the 19th century, the industrialization process of the United States was in full swing, and a large number of women participated in this epoch-making process, and the textile, telecommunications, service and other industries created a lot of employment opportunities for women. The lowly women were subjected to the inhuman exploitation of the capitalists, working for more than ten hours a day, receiving the lowest wage, and doing the dirtiest and most tiring work.

On March 8, 1908, 15,000 women marched in New York City to demand shorter working hours and better labor conditions.

On March 8, 1909, women workers in Chicago and workers in the textile and garment industries across the country staged a massive strike and demonstration to demand higher wages, an eight-hour workday, and the right to vote. This was the first organized mass struggle of working women in history. The struggle won the support and response of women from all over Europe. The strength of working women in all countries has been fully demonstrated.

In August 1910, at the International Women's Congress, Clara Zetkin, a social activist and orator dedicated to the women's liberation movement, proposed that March 8 be designated as International Women's Day. "International Women's Day" was born.

In 1924, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the meeting was held in Guangzhou"Thirty-eight"Commemoration of International Working Women's Day.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the People's Government Council issued a decree in December 1949 to designate March 8 as Women's Day every year.

For more than 100 years, the women's liberation movement has won the eight-hour working day and won the improvement of the social status of women in the world. Women have become the "gods" in the hearts of men, and I wish the women of the world happiness!
