Any load changes or pressure fluctuations downstream will be fed back to the bottom of the pilot valve diaphragm, so as to adjust the opening of the main valve and ensure the accuracy and stability of the downstream pressure. The valve pressure adjustment ratio can reach 10:1, the control is accurate, when the pressure range exceeds 10:1, two pressure reducing valves can be used in series. Steam enters the diaphragm chamber of the main valve through the pressure control pipe through the pilot valve, and part of the steam flows downstream through the control hole. The control pressure applied to the diaphragm of the main valve increases, and the main valve is opened. As the steam flows through the main valve, the downstream pressure rises, and the downstream pressure sensing pipe feedback acts on the lower part of the pilot valve diaphragm (in order to ensure the stability of the downstream pressure, the downstream pressure sensing pipe should be installed), the force makes the pilot valve gradually throttle and close, and balances with the spring force on the upper part of the diaphragm, so as to maintain the pressure in the diaphragm chamber of the main valve, control the opening of the main valve, transport an appropriate amount of steam, and maintain a stable pressure downstream. When the downstream pressure rises, the feedback pressure increases, the pilot valve closes, and the pressure in the main diaphragm chamber is released from the control hole, so that the main valve closes tightly.
