In the context of building a digital China, the implementation of digital education is imperative, and the digital and intelligent leadership of the principal determines the effectiveness of the implementation of digital education in schools. Dai Liyi, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and vice president of East China Normal University, suggested that the training of digital and intelligent leadership of primary and secondary school principals in the intelligent era should be strengthened.
In his research, Dai Liyi found that at present, many principals do not have a deep understanding of digital transformation, and some principals are emotionally afraid, and lack resilience in leading schools to carry out digital practices. At present, the digital transformation of schools led by principals is more based on the self-exploration of individuals and teams, and external support is insufficient.
To this end, Dai Liyi suggested that the important value and implementation requirements of digital intelligence leadership for primary and secondary school principals should be clarified at the policy level, and the framework standards for digital intelligence leadership for primary and secondary school principals should be developed, and the improvement of digital intelligence leadership for primary and secondary school principals should be regarded as an important content and starting point for the digital transformation and development of primary and secondary schoolsCarry out in-depth professional training for the improvement of digital and intellectual leadership of primary and secondary school principals;Strengthen the assessment and management of digital intelligence leadership for primary and secondary school principals, focus on the practice and transformation of digital literacy of principals, and incorporate digital intelligence leadership into the standards and processes for the training, selection, and assessment of principalsConsciously discover, publicize, and promote typical cases of digital intelligence leadership.
