The results of the 2022-2023 Anhui Important New Archaeological Discoveries and Excellent Field Archaeological Site Selection were announced, and the Lingjiatan site in Hanshan County, Ma'anshan City was selected for two honors at the same time.
In order to actively publicize the new archaeological discoveries in Anhui, show the long and splendid history of ancient civilization in Anhui, and promote the high-quality development of archaeology in Anhui, on February 21-22, under the guidance of the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism (Anhui Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau), sponsored by the Anhui Archaeological Society and the Anhui Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, and co-organized by Zhong'an **, the "2022-2023 Anhui Important Archaeological New Discoveries and Excellent Field Archaeological Site Selection Meeting" was held in Hefei. The selection committee was composed of 19 judges from relevant universities, research institutes and archaeological authorities in Anhui Province, and Professor Zhao Hui of the School of Archaeology and Museums of Peking University served as the director of the jury.
