Yun Liansheng, also known as Yun Lianzhen, the word Zhonghai, Mongolian, Inner Mongolia Tuyou Banner Shuijian Gou North Shitu people. Yun Liansheng first asked Wu Ying from the county to be his teacher. Wu Yingnai is the master of Baguazhang, Dong Haichuan**, and is good at the Yang family gun, so that Yun Liansheng can learn the true skills of Bagua and the Yang family's marksmanship.
After that, Yun Liansheng learned the grappling skills from Zhao Yuke, the boxer of the banner, and also learned the superb marksmanship from Guo Yunong, the famous master of the Yin Gun of the banner.
Later, Yun Liansheng studied with Yang Yishan, the dart master of the Beijing Huiyou Dart Bureau, and practiced the Three Emperors Cannon Hammer.
Yun Liansheng also learned gossip swordsmanship from the monk of Jinshan; He has practiced martial arts and is famous.
Yun Liansheng has learned from the public, set many martial arts companies to study hard, and has been practicing both internal and external skills for decades. Especially for the Yin Grip Gun and Bagua Swordsmanship, the short sword is long to use, the long spear to make the work, the application has reached the point of perfection, the reputation spread in the north and south of the river. There are many people from near and far who study art from Yun Liansheng, and among the eleven disciples of the Tuyouqi Banner, Yun Liansheng is the most proud of Dong Qichang and Sun Jixian.
Wu Tong
Around 1930, Yun Liansheng was recommended by Wu Tong, the host of the Suiyuan Provincial Guoshu Museum, as a Guoshu instructor in the No. 1 Middle School of Suiyuan Province, and was hired as the coach of the Guoshu Museum, which made the Yin Gun widely circulated in Hohhot.
During Yun Liansheng's time in the National Arts Hall, the coach was very strict with the gun. He was very appreciative of Wu Tong's application of Taijiquan's "Tingjin" kung fu to the gun, and believed that he knew the true meaning of the gun, so as to teach Wu Tong what he had gained in his life.
After the 177 incident in 1937, the Suiyuan Provincial Guoshu Museum was closed. Yun Liansheng returned to his hometown in 1938 and lived in an empty temple, where he and his younger brother Cheng Quanzhong continued to teach their apprentices how to bind the gun.
In 194, he died of typhoid fever in the temple. With the assistance of his younger brother Cheng Quanzhong and his apprentices, he was buried in his hometown of Beishitu.
Yun Liansheng has a gentle temperament and noble martial virtues, although he has practiced martial arts all his life, he never fights with people, and eats vegetarian food because he is tired of killing.
