With the increasing popularity of TikTok, there are more and more domestic companies going overseas through TikTok, but compared with China, there are still many blind spots in overseas cross-border stores.

We have also received a lot of messages recently to inquire about the cross-border store opening, and Ramadan is coming soon, there must be many merchants who want to take advantage of Ramadan to market a wave, so today I will tell you about the whole process of opening a store for novices.

Note: This process is not divided into B2B and B2C merchants, and is applicable to all customers who enter TikTok Shop.

However, most small stores must have qualifications to settle in, and at present, only Southeast Asia is the easiest to settle, just follow the process, and the United Kingdom and the United States need to meet the conditions.

1. U.S. mobile phone number (code receiving platform is sufficient).

2. Foreign mailbox number.

3. Business license of local enterprises in the United States.

4. Legal person social insurance number (SSN) or individual tax identification number (ITIN).

5. Delivery in the United States (platform delivery, self-delivery, FBA delivery).

First of all, sellers who want to enter TikTok Shop need to have an understanding of the market** in Southeast Asia and the entry rules. At the same time, it is necessary to register in the learning center of TikTok Shop.

This account is the same as a TikTok Shop or TikTok for Business account, and you can log in directly if you are already registered.

Unregistered businesses need to meet the following criteria:

1.Business license of enterprise nature;

2.Experience in operating mainstream third-party platforms with the same license or legal person;

3.The overall score of the store is greater than or equal to 43 or 90%.

TikTok Shop store entry process:

First, enter the store registration link and use the only domestic and overseas mobile phone number + email address on the whole network to register for TikTok Shop.

Then in the market selection, select the Southeast Asian market, and select the general entry below (note: the invitation code needs to be invited).

Next, select the location of the company entity and select it according to the options.

After filling in the above information, you need to go through qualification certification, including company qualification (business license), legal person qualification, third-party platform experience, etc.

If the merchant already has stores on other cross-border platforms, it will be easier to provide screenshots of other cross-border platforms (as shown in the figure) at the same time.

After completing the qualification, we can fill in the basic information of the store.

Including setting the store name (it must be filled in English and unique to the whole network), selecting the main category (a merchant account only supports selecting one main category, and the account can only publish the main category of products on all national sites), and selecting warehouse information, etc.

After all the fillings are completed, we can submit them for review, and the review time is expected to be 3 to 10 working days. After the store is successfully registered, you need to register a TikTok account with the same name as TikTok Shop for binding.

After that, we need to log in to the PC side and log in to the merchant background "Assets" margin and enter the margin page. The system will automatically open a margin account for us, if you encounter the accidental situation that the system automatically fails to open an account, you only need to click the "open a margin account" button to complete the margin account opening. However, if you still can't complete the margin account opening after clicking, you can also contact the platform's customer service to deal with it.
