I've heard a great, powerful phrase called "Allow this to happen." You can't stop everything from happeningYou're scared, you're not afraid, so I choose to let it go and not fight it. When you allow everything to happen, you become a softer, more relaxed person.
This sentence in English is actually the work of Rabindranath Tagore, a psychology tutor from India, who famously said that this means, "Love is the answer to everything, love is all paths". This may seem simple, but it is particularly enlightening to many people who seek wisdom. I think there are two meanings in this.
First, allow everything to happen. There are many things that we can't control, but we can choose our own mindset and how we respond. When we try to block something from happening, we are actually reinforcing the feelings that are causing us pain, and it doesn't help. When we accept that everything happens, our hearts become open-minded because we learn to live in harmony with what cannot be changed. In this way, our minds will become more peaceful and our emotions will be more stable.
Second, to allow everything to happen means to learn to let go. We are often clinging to a state in the past or in the future, and this attachment can make us lose the beauty of the present. When we learn to let go, we find ourselves becoming more relaxed and at ease. Because the past has passed, the future has not yet come, and only the present is what we really have. When we allow everything to happen, we cherish the present moment even more because we believe that every moment is unique and precious.
Sometimes, we feel that life is unfair to us, and we feel that people and things around us are not what we want. But when we learn to accept everything that happens, we will find that it's all part of our lives, and they're helping us grow and mature. Life is a process, not a destination. We should appreciate the process and enjoy every moment of it.
Having said all this, it is actually a warning to everyone to learn to allow everything to happen. When we learn to let go and accept things that cannot be changed, we become more open, tolerant, and kind. In this way, our lives will become better and our minds will become more peaceful.
