Rediscovered his "original intention", as a doctor, he has not treated diseases and saved people for so many years, but specialized in the "underworld" business to make money. After learning that he was in the advanced stage of lung cancer, he deceived Chen Guilin into surrendering by "deceiving" him, which can be regarded as a "yin virtue".

And Chen Guilin, driven by a bigger "name", got rid of the two wanted criminals who were higher than him, and also got rid of the "greed-hatred-stupidity" in his heart in the process.

So, Chen Guilin in the film, has his fate changed?

If he hadn't done the rest of the work and was still hiding, I think his fate trajectory would have been that he could only live in "darkness" for the rest of his life, with nowhere to rest assured and no relief. However, in the end, he can truly live under the "sunshine", then his fate has changed, and he is in harmony. So whether it's the doctor, the girl, or the last suicidal believer's mother, they are all the ones who cross him.

And to be reborn is not to become a "brand-new" person, but to "lose me", to get rid of the three poisons of greed, hatred, and ignorance, to get rid of the false and discriminating mind, and to find back the original heart, this is the destiny of Shuntian!

It takes courage to be reborn, but self-rationalization is not needed, which is the core logic of a person's destiny.
