Grandpa could have retired completely in the sixties and became a "flawless saint" in people's minds. But he said, "I can't be liked by everybody." He even asked his family to change their surnames so that they would not be taken care of by others. He was very disgusted by the fact that his family was treated specially. When someone asked me to evaluate my grandfather, I couldn't be objective and comprehensive for the time being. But what I'm trying to say is: people make mistakes; When you make mistakes, you need to review and learn from them.
When my grandfather was fighting, he said, "Don't think that I only win battles and don't defeat them; There is no such thing; People learn from defeats and failures. "Let future generations summarize some mistakes! Li Shimin once said when he convened people to compile history books: "Taking history as a mirror can tell the rise and fall." "Evaluating historical figures realistically is an objective attitude. My name means waiting for a new world to come; And the Chinese have already done this! I remembered what my grandfather said in a letter to his cousin Wen Yunchang in 1937: "Tell the villagers that only if we win, everyone will have a way to live." "He's always believed in building a new world where people don't have to rely on relationships to make a living; It's about living a happy and beautiful life! Later, my father translated into Russian and published some books, leaving me a lot of spiritual wealth; These riches will always inspire me!
