Facial paralysis is mainly due to medications, physics, acupuncture and surgery, but exercise is also crucial. Today I'm going to share a facial paralysis** workout that consists of six core facial muscle training movements.

The first is brow lift training, which helps restore the brow lift function by consciously lifting the eyebrows on the unaffected and affected sides, relying on muscle contraction. It is recommended to practice two to three times a day for 10 to 20 reps each time.

The next step is to close your eyes and use the contraction of your eye muscles to close your eyes easily. If it cannot be completely closed, the index finger can be massaged along the lower edge of the space to promote the functional closure of the eyelids.

The third movement is nose shrugging, which promotes the recovery of relevant muscle function by lifting the extensor muscles and compressing the nasal muscles.

The fourth movement is dental training, which relies on the contraction of the angular and laughing muscles. During training, let the corners of the mouth move to both sides at the same time, avoid unilateral force, and prevent habitual deviation of the corners of the mouth.

The fifth movement is the pouting exercise, which is completed by training the orbicularis oculi muscle, which requires the full force of the lips to contract.

Finally, there is cheek drum training, which focuses on the movement of orbicularis oculi and buccal muscles. These six movements are the core of facial paralysis training. It is recommended to apply a warm compress to the affected side for 10 to 20 minutes every morning and evening, combined with facial muscle massage.
