In order to further implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, focus on a new round of audit and evaluation work, deepen the reform of education and teaching, and comprehensively improve the quality of teaching, on the afternoon of February 29, the school held a teaching preparation meeting for the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year in the 601 lecture hall of the library. Li Wenyu, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, presided over the meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to summarize the effectiveness of teaching work in 2023, deploy the focus of teaching work in the new semester, and ensure that education and teaching work are carried out in an orderly and efficient manner. Li Wenyu first summarized the achievements of the school's teaching work in 2023, and deployed the key points of teaching work in the new semester from six aspects: characteristic major construction project, characteristic curriculum construction project, characteristic practical teaching construction project, efficient classroom construction project, teaching achievement cultivation project and application-oriented textbook construction project, and put forward a number of measures. This semester, the school will aim to improve the quality of teaching, highlight the advantages of school education and teaching, firmly establish the awareness of "quality school", focus on quality improvement and connotation development, accelerate the pace of "double special" construction, and strive to achieve the sustainable, harmonious and balanced development of school education. 
Bai Weiwei, Director of the Office of Total Quality Management, put forward the construction ideas and work requirements of this semester from two aspects: improving the teaching quality assurance system and operation mechanism, and improving the teaching quality through targeted audit and evaluation. It is said that it is necessary to pay close attention to the evaluation and rectification work guided by evaluation indicators, establish an educational development concept with quality improvement as the core, establish a quality-oriented quality assurance system and working mechanism, and earnestly strengthen and improve school education and teaching. 
At the meeting, Zhang Jing presented awards to the third batch of provincial first-class undergraduate courses and the winners of the third provincial university teacher teaching innovation competition, and the director of the teaching unit presented awards to the two professional leaders and 28 outstanding teachers who won the school's 2023 "Excellent Education Quality Award". 
Subsequently, the awarding ceremony of the first batch of five famous teacher studios was held. The studio will focus on the research of discipline professional development, play a leading, tackling and radiating role, help young teachers grow rapidly, and play the greatest role in improving the professional quality of teachers and promoting the high-quality development of education. 
In the experience introduction session, Zhang Chaoqun, the professional leader of the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Liang Hai, a teacher from the Department of Architectural Engineering, and Liu Yujie, a teacher from the Department of Management Engineering, shared typical cases from the aspects of school-enterprise co-construction curriculum construction, interesting classroom construction, and blended teaching. 
Finally, in her speech, Zhang Jing affirmed the school's teaching work in 2023, and proposed to implement the fundamental task of cultivating people with virtue, strengthen the student-centered concept, and hoped that all teaching units would take the new round of audit and evaluation work as the starting point, adhere to the problem-oriented and demand-oriented, and cultivate the quality culture of the university. At the same time, the "four insistences" are put forward for the teaching work, that is, unswervingly adhere to the correct direction of running the school, unswervingly adhere to the central position of teaching, unswervingly adhere to the reform of curriculum teaching, and unswervingly adhere to the improvement of teaching quality, so as to continuously improve the quality of talent training, enhance the competitiveness and core influence of the school, and comprehensively promote the undergraduate education and teaching work to a new level.
