After a period of planning and organization, we ushered in 38 activities. This year, we are doing a very meaningful experiential activity--- the water painting of intangible cultural heritage.

The finished product --- Shuituo silk scarf painting.
Before the event kicked off, we led everyone on a journey back in time to trace the origin and development of water topography, and feel its shining status in China's intangible cultural heritage. Water painting, this ancient and mysterious painting technique, is like a wise man in the long history, precipitating the rich cultural heritage of the Chinese nation. Every delicate depiction and every smooth line carries rich historical information and unique artistic value. Then, we guide you to step into the palace of creation. Just gently drop a few drops of ink or paint on the surface of the water, and then use a special tool to dance on the surface of the water, and the ink and paint will dance in the water like a dancer, spreading and blending naturally. Then, the silk scarf is gently covered with it, and the absorbency of the silk scarf subtly captures the pattern on the surface of the water and imprints it on the paper. Finally, when the silk scarf is dried, a dreamlike water extension painting comes to life. Just when spring is coming, we can match all kinds of clothes and bags, and it will be beautiful! During the whole creative process, everyone was engrossed, as if time stood still, only the tools in their hands and the creativity in their hearts danced. Some try to create kaleidoscopic patterns with tools of different colors and shapes, while others pursue the poetic beauty of the blend of ink and water. Everyone is immersed in their own creative world, dancing with the water and enjoying the endless fun brought by this ancient technique. Towards the end of the event, we showcased the work of all participants. Each work is like a bright star, unique, shining with creativity and imagination. Through the ancient painting technique of water tuo, we have allowed more people to appreciate the profound cultural heritage and artistic charm of the Chinese nation. We look forward to holding more such events in the future, so that traditional culture can bloom more brilliantly in modern society.
