SK280 piston accumulator overview:
The fluid is actually incompressible, so it is impossible to store pressure energy. Hydraulic accumulators use the compressibility of gas (nitrogen) to store fluids. The HYDAC piston accumulator is based on this principle. The piston accumulator consists of a fluid part and a gas part, and the piston acts as a hermetic separation element. The gas part is pre-filled with nitrogen. The fluid part is connected to the hydraulic circuit, and when the pressure rises, the piston accumulator sucks in the fluid and the gas is compressed. When the pressure drops, the compressed gas expands, forcing the stored liquid into the circuit.
The HYDAC piston accumulator consists of the following components: z One cylinder with a finely machined inner surface Z End caps on the gas and oil sides, sealed with O-rings z A floating steel or aluminum piston that, due to its light weight, can be easily accelerated z A sealing system suitable for a specific application The piston floats on the guide ring, preventing metal contact between the piston and the accumulator wall. When using certain aggressive or corrosive fluids, parts that come into contact with the fluid can be protected with nickel plating or made entirely of corrosion-resistant materials. In addition, materials suitable for low-temperature applications are available. The piston accumulator supplied is suitable for short-term storage. High Temperature Resistance: The piston accumulator of the Tuobu High Temperature Resistant Model can operate at high temperatures up to 230 degrees Celsius.
Withstand large pressure fluctuation range: It can withstand a large pressure fluctuation amplitude, and is suitable for series gas cylinders or gas cylinder groups, which greatly improves the volume utilization rate.
Easy to install and maintain: Due to its simple structure and maintenance requirements, piston accumulators are relatively easy to install and maintain.
Good sealing: due to multiple seals, even if the failure is gradual, slow failure (leakage), for some equipment or systems, the sudden failure of the accumulator may lead to accidents or major losses, at this time the piston accumulator should be selected.
