The experience of running on an empty stomach in the morning is extremely poor, so runners should try carefully
After running for a long time, today is the first time that I have deliberately tried a "taboo" of running - "morning running" on an empty stomach, and the time point is strictly not early in the morning but in the morning. We runners know that the usual morning run time is around 5 a.m., but this time my test time was 9 o'clock, the distance was 10 kilometers, and the condition was that I didn't eat anything. The result can be imagined: the pace is so slow that it drops to 6 and a half minutes, and the key is that I feel that I can't lift my legs during the whole process, and the experience is extremely poor.
The results show that it is best for us runners not to try to run in the morning on an empty stomach. Because if I don't eat at all in the morning, after the consumption of the previous night, the blood sugar level in the body is at a low level, and I still run at 9 o'clock, and the lower blood sugar level cannot keep up with the intensity of the exercise of 10 kilometers, which will cause the body to react violently this time. Actually, I knew from the beginning that I couldn't go for a morning jog on an empty stomach, but it was just when things came together that I had this somewhat ridiculous experiment and experience.
We have always stressed that we can't run on an empty stomach, but relatively speaking, the running experience of running at night on an empty stomach is better, after all, we have some food to eat during the day. Therefore, it is recommended that we runners do not run in the morning on an empty stomach, and can eat less digestible things before running, such as a banana, a few biscuits, etc., and we must not try to run long distances of more than 10 kilometers. Well, I hope this suggestion can be resonated with everyone!
