Some time ago, the city-level unit selected cadres, and a colleague from the unit happened to enter the inspection object.
The inspection team from the city-level department was composed of two people, a ninth-level cadre (that is, an ordinary cadre) leading the team, and the other seemed to be a newly assigned civil servant. These two people are not at the same level, but our main leader is very respectful and attaches great importance to it, and personally considers all the details, for fear of missing something.
I remember that last year, there was a person who asked the main leader to do something, and he was very polite and low-key, and then asked me to send it back. I've been wondering, what are you going to do? came back, feedback on the work situation, and the main leader said: "Respect at work is more about your position than your person, don't have illusions".
Indeed, if we leave this position, who are we and who will respect us?
01.Respect is more about your current position
The world within the system is fundamentally different from other spheres. Here, your status and title often determine the level of respect you receive.
When you have power, the people around you will be respectful to you, call you "director", "director", "section chief" and "director", give you valuable gifts, and flatter you.
However, if your position changes and your power disappears, many people will immediately change their degree and no longer respect you as much as before.
People say that "the world is hot and cold" and "people go to tea and cool", this is the original operating rules of the world.
02.Be sober in your position and don't blindly oppress others
There is an old Zhang in the classmate unit, who is in a leadership position. This person took a few days off, and when he heard that he had just arrived, he called the head of the department who was in charge of cleaning him to him and asked why he didn't sweep, the teacups were not poured, the flowers were not watered, how to work, and the output of one meal. The person in charge was also good-tempered and did not refute it on the spot.
Work within the system, and executive orders can command you. But what the executive order directs must be an administrative act, and failure to clean up is considered administrative inaction?
We are in this position to give orders, and it is the authority given to us by the position. But you can't give any order, you can't do whatever you want. Others respect you, and most likely it's not you.
Leaving this position, we are nothing.
03.Create your own charisma and talent
Location makes a difference. Only if your actions conquer everyone, make everyone believe in you, and worship you, you will be successful. Everyone's respect can be more of your person.
Willing to move closer to you, willing to work with you, more willing to follow you.
Therefore, to survive within the system, we must keep a clear head. Don't be fooled by titles and status, and know how to distinguish between genuine respect and false flattery.
