In order to create a safe and secure consumption environment for edible agricultural products, since December, the Xiaoshan District Food Safety Supervision Association has launched a special action of "fresh lights" social supervision in the whole region. At present, 41 members and volunteers have been organized to supervise 15 farmers' markets, supervise 21 fresh stores, discover and correct 12 operators who use "fresh lights" in violation of regulations, distribute 200 copies of "reminders and warnings", and put up 120 posters.

Before the release of the latest version of the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of the Quality and Safety of Edible Agricultural Products Market", "fresh lights" and "beauty lights" were widely used, which can make agricultural products more "fresh" and "good-looking", which affects the correct judgment of consumers. In order to carry out the special action of "fresh lamp" social supervision, the District Food Safety Association sent the "Reminder and Warning on the Sale of Edible Agricultural Products Shall Not Use "Fresh Lamp" through WeChat, and sought the support of the district market supervision department, mobilized members and volunteers to participate in the action, and ensured the smooth development of the action.

In the past few days, the five liaison groups of the District Food Safety Association have carried out the special action of "fresh lights" social supervision in farmers' markets, fresh supermarkets and fruit stores in Heshang, Chengxiang, Yaqian, Xinjie, Nanyang and other towns and streets. The Volunteer Brigade of the District Food Safety Association also organized volunteers to carry out relevant actions in Dangwan, Yinong, Jingjiang and other towns and streets.

During the action, members and volunteers spread the word to the stall owners and put up posters to guide them to choose the lighting reasonably to ensure the freshness and safety of the food. At the same time, the hygiene of the market was also inspected, and it was found that most of the stalls were relatively clean and tidy, and the deficiencies of a few stalls were discouraged.

In the next step, the District Food Safety Association will continue to pay attention to the use of "fresh lights", strengthen publicity and persuasion, and organize members and volunteers to carry out region-wide and normalized social supervision of "fresh lights", so that people can shop more at ease and safer.
