The buffer bed is composed of a number of buffer strips, each of which is composed of four parts: a polymer polyethylene surface with a very low friction coefficient and good wear resistance, a cushioning rubber with excellent elasticity, a metal skeleton and an anti-loosening fastening bolt assembly. This equipment is installed under the guide chute of the belt conveyor, under the blanking point tape. By using a buffer bed instead of a traditional support roller to withstand the impact of falling material, you can avoid damage or tearing of the belt and prevent material from scattering.
The performance parameters of the polymer polyethylene surface layer are as follows:
Coefficient of friction: 010-0.15
Breaking strength: 44n mm
Elongation at break: 50%.
Hardness: 63 (Shore D).
Density: 094g/cm³
The performance parameters of high-elastic cushioning rubber are:
Elasticity coefficient: 70%.
Tensile strength: 19MPa
Elongation at break: 600%.
Hardness: 42 (Shore A).
The advantage of the buffer bed is that it is the best supporting buffer structure as the material ** point. Because this structure ensures the surface contact of the conveyor belt and makes the force uniform, it can effectively prevent the longitudinal tear of the belt caused by the breakage or detachment of the roller. At the same time, it also greatly reduces the probability of longitudinal tearing of the belt after being penetrated by materials or sharp objects.
The highly elastic rubber strip can fully absorb the impact load generated when the material falls, so as to greatly reduce the impact of the material on the conveyor belt to protect the conveyor belt from damage.
The special surface of UHMW polymer polyethylene minimizes the coefficient of friction between the conveyor belt and the buffer strip and provides excellent wear resistance.
