Today, I am discussing with Buddhist friends whether there is a written word, first of all, what is the text? It's a phase, it's a kind of identification! There is an idiom called "chewing the text and chewing the words", which is just like the "taste" that can be chewed out in the text, which is a very vivid metaphor!Words can express meaning, and this is the greatness of words.
Modern science believes that we humans think through the senses to receive information, through the brain processing to obtain cognition. Buddhism introduces the concept of the mind, which is the master, that the mind perceives and understands everything inside and outside, and that everything is refracted and interpreted through the inherent patterns of our mind.
"Not writing" refers to not conveying information through words. By what?"Pointing directly to the hearts of the people, seeing the nature to become a Buddha" is also the characteristic of Zen Buddhism that is different from the teaching. As mentioned earlier, writing is a kind of nomenclature that reveals the teachings of the Buddha in a manifest way.
Zen Buddhism is the "heart to the heart" from generation to generation, putting aside the shadow of the phase, directly the Miaoming sincere instructions to the ** or the door. Because there is no duality in the nature of the heart, such as each other and the noble and the low, it is possible to pass on the heart in a way that transcends words.
This is not to say that the text is not good, but it is just a different teaching method for different root organs. Some ** need to go to Bodh Ka to understand the profound Buddha's teachings; Some ** have been told that the Bodh Ka leaf is in your heart, please look inward; Some of them may be told that there is no such thing as Bodhkya at all, it is just a manifestation of the mind.
"Initiation of the heart" on the level of non-artificiality points out the nakedness of the mind that dwells together in the realm of enlightened emptiness. The method is as direct and clear as brushing off the dust on the orb, and it suddenly becomes clear in an instant! To sum up, not standing a word is not that it can't be established, but that it doesn't need to be established.
