Last weekend night, my husband and mother-in-law talked to **, and my mother-in-law asked how the job search was going. My husband said that he hadn't found it yet, and he was going to do something else to subsidize the family first. My mother-in-law became anxious after hearing this: "You can't stay at home all the time, I heard your cousin say that delivering food and opening Didi in Beijing is also very profitable, so you can try it." My husband was helpless and perfunctory, and after hanging **, I saw him lying on the bed staring at the roof, and I knew he was confused.
Really, I was very surprised when I heard that he was going to lose his job. Because he performed well in the company, the leaders also valued him. He told me on WeChat: "Their team is going to disband, and they are ready to pack up and go home." "I was a little lost in my heart, and I felt even more sorry for him, this is the end of the day and night work, and then I will face the pressure of finding a job.
In fact, the leader won a reservation place for him and let him go to other departments, but he needed to reduce his salary by 20%, and he decided not to go after thinking about it. Of course, I respect his decision. In a team of more than a dozen people, the leader finally kept him, and I am still happy and proud of my husband, at least it proves that his ability is not bad. Time flies quickly, my husband has been unemployed for a month and a half, and the industry he is engaged in is online games. In the first few years, the industry dividend period has passed a good time, and since the beginning of this year, the game industry has been sluggish and the 35-year-old mid-life crisis has been superimposed, and the cruelty of facing employment can be imagined. Still, I don't want him to be in such a hurry to find a job, because the industry is in short sight, and maybe we should open up other ways out.
After he and his mother-in-law finished talking, we talked until midnight that night, and I asked him some of his thoughts and also told me my thoughts. In the end, we agreed on our future choices, unified our goals, and worked hard silently.
A few of his options:
First of all, and then "rolling" large factories, I don't think it's necessary. With the current **, even if you can get in, it will be a salary cut. His personality is relatively straightforward, he doesn't know how to lead, and although he has the ability, he can't change the fate of the "big head soldier". The age is not young, and if you stay up late and work overtime, your body will be unbearable.
Secondly, he talked about a few startups that had been in contact with him, but I rejected them after listening to them. I am a financial person, and I can especially understand the hardships of starting a business. It can be said that the bosses of startups that can survive in the end are very cruel. It's not a pejorative meaning, but I've come to the conclusion that I've met quite a few startup bosses that brutality and cold-bloodedness are essential qualities for them. Both men and women must abstain from being emotional. Most of the emotions that can be seen by you go deeper, and the "pretending" component is larger. Either he wants to "fool" the employee into suffering with him, or he is painting a pie for the investor. In order for the company to survive, he will become cruel, he will become profit-oriented, and he will become cold-blooded. Even if it's a woman, it's not necessarily soft-hearted, ruthless or even more violent.
Because of this, several people who want to pull him into starting a business have been unhappy with me, thinking that I am blocking his future. I thought to myself, pull him in, give a little bit of shares that are difficult to cash, and the salary he gets is not as good as that of a recent college graduate, do you think we are really "stupid".
In the end, he said that he wanted to work part-time for a while to earn money, and if the income was good, he would open a studio or a small company. I asked him if he currently has a customer, and he said that several friends around him asked him to do some technical support work part-time, and the income can be more than 2w yuan a month. I asked him again, isn't it illegal, and he replied no, it's all a regular game. I thought I could try it for a while, so I decided so happily.
The above decision is based on the fact that we don't have too much burden. My job is relatively stable, and it is not a problem to take care of food and drink at home. He has his own ideas and I should strongly support him, in case the east is not bright, but the west is bright!
My husband, who used to work overtime in meetings late at night, can at least sleep well with me now.
