Recently, a product called "nasal energy bar" has become popular among elementary and middle school students. According to the Beijing News, the "nasal energy bar" is shaped like a stick-shaped plastic tube, which is mostly composed of camphor, peppermint and other ingredients. Despite claims that the product is refreshing and pure, non-toxic, we need to be vigilant about its epidemic in the interest of public health and the growth of young people.
"Nasal inhalation" is not a "must-smoke", and the healthy growth of teenagers cannot tolerate such risky products.
First of all, there are concerns about the hygiene of "nasal energy bars". Experts point out that indiscriminately stuffing such items into the nostrils can pose health hazards and damage the nasal mucosa, which can cause rhinitis at worst and can cause nasal ulcers and bleeding. Considering that the body of primary and secondary school students is not yet mature, their nasal passages are more delicate and vulnerable. Therefore, there is a potential risk to their physical health from using this abnormal way of eating.
Second, for teenagers, excessive pursuit of so-called "sobering tools" may affect their mental health and Xi attitudes. The claim that this commodity is refreshing is not supported by sufficient science. In fact, some students said that the more they smoked the "nasal energy bar", the more addictive they became. This over-reliance on external objects for "energy" can lead to dependence and affect the development of their own inner potential. What's more, this pursuit of external stimuli and "pleasure" can have a negative impact on students' academic performance.
Many local drug control offices have also issued documents stating that nasal addiction may reduce young people's awareness of drug prevention and cause incalculable harm.
In addition, the regulation of the sale of goods by minors is also worthy of attention. According to the provisions of the "Protection of Minors**", the sale of products aimed at minors shall comply with relevant standards and shall not endanger the personal safety and physical and mental health of minors. In this case, did the merchant fully consider the physical and mental characteristics of the teenager and the possible risks of the product? The relevant authorities should strengthen the supervision of such products to ensure that they meet safety and health standards and prevent adverse effects on adolescents.
Faced with this problem, we should look for solutions from multiple angles. First of all, schools and parents should strengthen the education of young people, guide them to correctly understand the dangers of such products, and improve their awareness of risks. At the same time, ** and advertising companies should assume their social responsibility and avoid misleading young people by not publishing advertisements that encourage the use of such products. In addition, the relevant authorities should also strengthen the supervision of the sale of goods for minors to ensure that products that meet the legal requirements and safety standards enter the market.
In conclusion, we should be vigilant and take corresponding measures against the popular "nasal energy bars" among teenagers. It is our common responsibility to protect the physical health and mental health of young people, and only through the efforts of the whole society can we create a good environment for them to grow up.
