Yangtze River Network News (reporter Wang Chengyong, correspondent Yan Xianyu). On December 1st, the opening ceremony of "Parallel Lines - Three Exhibitions of Li Jianping, Ai Lin and Huang Hairong" co-sponsored by Hubei Artists Association, Painting School of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts and Tanghu Art Museum was held at Tanghu Art Museum. The three artists participating in this exhibition are all teaching at the School of Painting of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, and although they have the same academic background, they are not bound by the academic school, and have formed their own visual schemas and artistic expressions in their exploration.

At the opening ceremony, a donation ceremony was also held, and the three participating artists each donated one artwork to the Tanghu Art Museum. The exhibition will run until December 13 and is open to the public free of charge.

Wang Xinyao, director of Tanghu Art Museum, said that in the context of the integration of art and technology, the cultural ecology of oil painting has undergone profound changes. However, the three artists, Li Jianping, Ai Lin and Huang Hairong, can still break free from the shackles of the world in an impetuous atmosphere, stay true to their hearts, and walk on the road of dialogue with contemporary art in a "slow" style.

The works of the three artists fully reflect the young and middle-aged artists' thinking on the times, humanity and history. Wang Zhixin, the curator, vice chairman of the Hubei Artists Association and director of the scientific research department of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, said that through this exhibition, he hoped that the three artists would continue to work hard, never forget their original intentions, forge ahead, and strive to create excellent works worthy of the times and the people.

Xu Wentao, the academic host and dean of the School of Painting of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, believes that the paintings of the three artists have a duality: on the one hand, they have traditional academic skills, but at the same time, they are shocked by the new wave of art at that time, so that they no longer follow a certain ready-made paradigm, but inject their own life experience and emotions into their works, so as to reflect the pioneering and innovative nature in their works.
