With the increasing aging of China, the issue of pension has gradually become the focus of social attention. Recently, Yan Zhipeng, a professor at Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, put forward unique insights on the issue of pension in an interview with the financial "Knowledge" column. He stressed that delayed retirement and international migration are effective strategies to cope with the increasing burden of old-age care in China.

Professor Yan Zhipeng is a well-known scholar at the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and has long been committed to the study of social and economic issues such as aging and pension system. The views he puts forward in this interview are based on his deep research background and keen insight.

Professor Yan Zhipeng first pointed out that China is "running" into a deep aging society, and the number of elderly people is rising, which has brought great pressure to the pension system. Therefore, delaying retirement has become an important means to alleviate the burden of old-age care. He believes that the delayed retirement policy should be differentiated according to the actual situation of different groups of people, and cannot be one-size-fits-all. For workers in good physical condition, delaying retirement can reduce the pressure on the pension system, and at the same time, it can also give full play to their experience advantages and create more value for society. However, for workers in poor physical condition, it may not be wise to force a delay in retirement and may affect their quality of life. Therefore, the actual situation of workers should be fully considered in policy formulation to ensure the fairness and rationality of the policy.

In addition to delaying retirement, Professor Yan Zhipeng also proposed to solve the problem of labor shortage in China through international migration. He believes that with the intensification of aging, China can attract talent and technology inflow from other countries to supplement domestic labor resources. International migration can not only alleviate the pressure of domestic pensions, but also promote international exchanges and cooperation, and promote sustainable economic development.

Professor Yan Zhipeng's view has a certain degree of reasonableness. Delaying retirement can alleviate the pressure on the pension system to a certain extent, but policy formulation needs to fully consider the actual situation of different groups of people to avoid causing unfairness. International migration, on the other hand, can bring new labor resources to our country and contribute to sustainable economic development. Of course, when implementing international migration policies, it is necessary to take into account cultural differences, integration and other issues to ensure that migrants can better integrate into society and play their due value.

Through Professor Yan Zhipeng's analysis and suggestions, we can see that the problem of old-age care is not unsolvable. As long as we actively seek solutions, make rational use of various resources, and continuously improve the level of social governance, we can effectively respond to the challenges brought about by aging. I believe that with the joint efforts of the whole society, we can build a more harmonious and sustainable environment for the elderly.
