Property pension warms the life of the elderly

On January 5, 2021, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and 10 other departments jointly issued the Notice on Strengthening and Improving the Management of Residential Properties, proposing to encourage property service enterprises to carry out extended services such as elderly care.

As a "pension housekeeper", a team of senior service professionals (including security, cleaning, green protection and warranty) established by property service enterprises provides services such as meal assistance, bathing assistance, cleaning assistance, emergency assistance, walking assistance, and medical assistance for elderly residents in need in the jurisdiction through cooperation with third parties. In the "property + pension service" model, the existing community property relies on the original personnel or acts as an intermediate platform to initiate mutual pension services. There are also property companies that set up independent home-based community elderly care service institutions to provide daytime unattended care and provide services such as care and catering for the elderlySet up a full-time care center to provide short-term care accommodation services and physiotherapy services for the elderly who have just been discharged from the hospital.

"Property + Elderly Care Services" supports participation in the provision of integrated medical and elderly care services, supports the development of nutrition services and health promotion for the elderly, develops community volunteer services for the elderly, and promotes the linkage development of the elderly care industry. Actively promote smart home community elderly care services, build a smart elderly care information platform, configure smart elderly care service facilities, enrich the form of smart elderly care services, and innovate the supply of smart elderly care products.

By providing services for the elderly at home in the community, property service enterprises can obtain the advantage of operating costs by using property service resources and integrating social pension resources. Property companies are closest to customers in the field of home and community elderly care, and owners have a natural sense of trust in them, making it easier to reach out to the elderly in the community. In the process of residential property service, the property company has registered and mastered in detail the family members, occupations, needs and other information of the owners of the community, so as to facilitate the service personnel to provide customized and humanized professional services for the elderly.

"Property + pension" is a national strategy to actively respond to the aging of the population. It can not only help home-based elderly care, but also organically integrate with community elderly care and institutional elderly care, and cooperate with each other to form a new form of "three-in-one" integrated elderly care service.
