Guangming**Fuzhou, December 1 (Reporter Zhang Yi).In order to promote the construction of a new power system and a new energy system, serve the clean and low-carbon transformation of energy, and help achieve the "double carbon" goal, China's first national offshore wind power research and testing base (hereinafter referred to as the "offshore wind power test base") started construction in Fujian on the 1st, and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation as a whole in 2024.
The offshore wind power test base is an important part of the National Key Laboratory of Renewable Energy Grid Integration, including two parts: an onshore testing center and a test wind farm. The pilot wind farm plans to build 6 onshore test stands and 20 40 offshore test stands, and the first batch of 20 offshore test stands is located in the offshore area of Changle, Fujian.
According to reports, the offshore wind power test base integrates the functions of first-class analysis, operation testing, characteristic evaluation and technology research and development, and can carry out international cutting-edge technology research in many fields such as empirical research on large-capacity offshore wind turbine equipment and grid-connected technology research on grid source-friendly wind power, and tackle key core technologies of offshore wind power, which will effectively enhance China's offshore wind power basic research and test capabilities. At the same time, after the completion of the base, it will promote the upgrading of the offshore wind power industry, promote the formation of a complete industrial ecology, and drive the upgrading of the industrial base and the modernization of the industrial chain. In addition, the base will help accelerate the research and development of new technologies for wind power equipment, break through the technical bottleneck of large-capacity offshore wind turbines and large-size blade manufacturing, and promote the high-quality development of the offshore wind power industry.
It is reported that the project is jointly invested and constructed by the State Grid China Huadian Group and China Power Construction Group.
