Dell Technologies is proud to introduce the next generation of Dell Precision workstations, designed to help customers push the boundaries and achieve technical and business excellence. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, we are witnessing a growing number of innovative mindsets, both internally and externally, exploring how these cutting-edge technologies can be used to drive innovation and human progress. As a leader in technology, Dell Technologies is uniquely positioned to provide customers with a full range of AI solutions, from the desktop to the data center to the cloud, as well as personalized service and support. We are committed to providing our customers with the most suitable solutions for their work needs, helping them realize their dreams and achieve their future.
Over the years, Dell Technologies has continued to build workstations for AI and push the boundaries of AI technology. In fact, Dell Optimizer, Dell's intelligent tuning software, is built on AI, optimized and refined on Precision workstations, and then widely used in other business computers. Today, workstations are driving innovation and advancement in AI, allowing scientists and developers to achieve GPU-based AI acceleration with affordable devices without worrying about server usage time constraints.

Win-win cooperation
Dell Technologies is working with strategic partners to improve product performance and capabilities. In the case of its partnership with Intel, for example, Dell is actively pursuing the "AI-INSIDE" initiative to bring innovative Intel Core Ultra processors to the new 3000 and 5000 series mobile workstations. These processors integrate a multiprocessor combination of CPUs, neural processing units (NPUs) and graphics processing units (GPUs) to optimize AI performance in more than 100 applications1 to run faster and more power-efficient. For example, they enable new collaborative experiences, such as AI-powered meetings, with features such as background blur, facial framing, and gaze correction. The NPU effectively offloads tasks on the CPU or GPU, reducing power consumption by up to 40%. This means that the battery lasts longer, allowing you to keep working without having to recharge as often. In addition, the CPU is equipped with faster Intel Arc Pro integrated graphics to deliver superior performance for more intensive AI workloads. CPUs, NPUs, and GPUs work together to create a flexible, high-performance, and energy-efficient AI engine that delivers the best user experience.
NVIDIA GPUs work in tandem with the NPU, where the NPU is dedicated to handling lightweight and sustained AI tasks, while the NVIDIA GPU is responsible for the more complex day-to-day AI processing tasks. For most of our customers looking for more advanced AI and graphics capabilities, such as developing advanced 3D models and scenes, industrial and creative design, and AI inference, training and development efforts, Dell Technologies' new Precision mobile and fixed product line will feature the NVIDIA RTX ADA Generation GPU stack. The stack includes the new, high-performance entry-level NVIDIA graphics processor RTX500 and 1000 ADA Generation Laptop GPUs, which provide users with powerful AI, ray tracing, and graphics capabilities. Since NVIDIA added Tensor Cores for AI acceleration to several GPU architectures, its RTX technology has been integrated into hundreds of applications. Today, customers can use GPU-accelerated AI to increase productivity in a variety of content creation, rendering, and even business productivity applications.
Unleash your productivity
The new Dell Precision 3490 and 3590 mobile workstations are powered by up to NVIDIA RTX 500 ADA graphics processors and are designed to boost productivity for professional users. The Precision 3591 focuses on design and creation for entry-level 2D and 3D CAD applications. The Precision 5000 Series Mobile Workstations take creative performance to new heights, with the Precision 5690 delivering a superior creative experience in a compact 16-inch body. It offers a wide field of view, excellent portability, and powerful application performance with up to NVIDIA RTX 5000 graphics processors. At the same time, the compact but powerful Precision 5490 is a 14-inch ultraportable device that is no slouch in terms of performance and experience4. The new workstations will all be powered by the Windows 11 operating system and will provide instant access to Windows Copilot functionality with a dedicated hardware key. Vincente Rivera, Chief Architect at Microsoft, said, "We accelerated local development for Windows AI Studio with the Dell Precision 5690. The device's ability to efficiently handle multiple AI model variables and fine-tune processes has increased our team's productivity and speed of innovation. ”

Dell Technologies' technological innovation doesn't stop there. We've also dramatically improved the performance of our entry-level tower workstations, making them cost-effective and ideal for small workspaces, while delivering more power than ever before. For example, the Precision 3280 Compact Chassis Workstation (CFF), a compact workstation with Tensor Core GPU, delivers faster AI inference and high-performance computing performance, and boosts CPU performance with the latest 14th Gen Intel Core processors and new cooling solutions. Powered by up to NVIDIA RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation GPUs, it delivers consistent and outstanding performance for advanced AI-powered graphics workflows, even in a compact form factor.
The Precision 3680 Tower is also worth paying attention to. Powered by a powerful Intel Core 14th Gen processor and an NVIDIA RTX 6000 ADA Generation GPU, this workstation is one of the fastest workstations in the world for single-threaded tasks. Its "UnlimitedTurboDuration" feature effectively extends the time the workstation runs at high speeds. In addition, Dell Technologies has carefully optimized its thermal performance to ensure that the system remains cool and silent in high-load applications, bringing users a more efficient and stable work experience.
"D**Inci Resolve customers rely on the power and versatility of Dell Precision Workstations to create real-time, high-quality content," said Dan May, President of Blackmagic Design. We're excited about what our customers will create with the new Dell Precision 3680." ”

Security continues to be enhanced
Built-in security is the secret to making your Dell Precision workstation even more powerful. As one of the most secure business PCs in the industry, Precision offers hardware and firmware features to withstand modern cyberattacks. This spring, Dell Technologies will continue to strengthen Precision's defenses with new built-in vulnerability detection. This new feature will help IT further reduce the growing risk of device-level attacks, and it will scan for security vulnerabilities that have been exposed and provide recommendations for remediation. This feature is expected to go live in April 2024, and the initial phase will focus on protecting against BIOS vulnerabilities.
Dell Technologies, the world's leading workstation provider, is embarking on an exciting journey of innovation with strategic partners and customers to bring cutting-edge technologies and experiences to life.
