The continuous snowfall not only makes the majestic Qinling Mountains covered in silver, but also makes it difficult for wild animals in the mountains to forage. The "two treasures" golden monkeys and takins in the "Four Treasures of the Qinling Mountains" went down the mountain to forage for food, accidentally broke into the highway to "walk", and were driven away by the patrol high-speed traffic police in time to return to the mountains and forests.
At 9:15 on February 23, police officer Xi Jun and auxiliary police officer Chen Linglong of the Qinning Squadron of the Ankang High Traffic Brigade drove a police car to carry out patrol tasks. When driving to 1180 kilometers in the direction of Hanzhong in the Ankang section of the Beijing-Kunming Expressway, a golden snub-nosed monkey was found to have nowhere to forage for food in the snow, so it broke into the highway to look for food, and there was a group of golden snub-nosed monkeys waiting to enter outside the roadside isolation zone. The police quickly drove the snub-nosed monkeys away, preventing more snub-nosed monkeys from being lured into the highway and having a running accident.
Coincidentally, at about 13 o'clock on the 23rd, the takin, which is also the "Four Treasures of the Qinling Mountains", also followed the pace of "Brother Monkey" and broke into the Daya Mountain Tunnel in the direction of Xi'an on the Beijing-Kunming Expressway. At this time, the highway that was closed for a short time due to rain and snow has been lifted from traffic control, and the traffic flow released by Xi'an has reached the vicinity of the Qinling Tunnel, and the situation is very critical. After receiving the police information, the Qinning squadron quickly assigned the nearby police on duty to deal with it. Because takin is a large-sized wild animal with a certain degree of aggression, Peng Longjing, deputy captain of the Ankang Gaojiao Brigade, who is guiding the emergency response to bad weather in the Qinning squadron, asked the on-site police to pay attention to safety precautions to avoid angering the takin. Zhang Xiaobo, a police officer who rushed to the scene, and personnel from the Safety Road Production Squadron of the Ningshan Management Office used the car engine and shouting to lure the takin out of the tunnel, and then introduced the takin into the mountain forest. Due to the timely and proper handling by the police, the occurrence of safety accidents was avoided.
The Ankang High-tech Brigade reminded the general public that the Beijing-Kunming Expressway traverses the hinterland of the Qinling Mountains, and rare wild animals often appear along the route. When driving to the Qinling Mountains, you must pay attention to observation and avoid in time, not only to ensure your own driving safety, but also to protect rare wild animals.
