A few days ago, there was a major campus accident in a private school in Nanyang City, Henan Province, and some people pointed the finger at the "two concentrations" reform of education in Henan Province on the Internet, which I think is very inappropriate.

Now, the decline of rural education is called the "free fall" speed, it is not an exaggeration, Henan Province education "two concentrations" reform of the idea is undoubtedly very correct, but the action is a little slow, delaying the process of reform, to the first financial has brought huge pressure, resulting in a waste of manpower, material and financial resources.

Henan Province's education "two centralization" reform has been proposed for two years, and it is unknown how much can be acted. Some villages have only twenty or thirty people, but they have about a dozen teachers, so can they only wait until they can't recruit a single student before they close down? It is better to take the initiative to reform than to passively reform, and the leaders of the education department still need to show a little courage and determination.

Fight your way out. "The boldness and courage of the reform back then have now come to fruition, and their action has not yet been delayed, and this kind of consumables is even worse for the local finances.

The merger of rural schools is a major trend and is imminent. Here comes another issue – the issue of teachers. At present, the rich teachers in rural education are a large stock, not only have they not reduced the number of teachers to increase efficiency, but a large number of new people have joined the rich teachers every year, resulting in greater waste.

Nowadays, in rural schools, not only does the ratio of teachers to students in village primary schools not reach 1:10, but even township middle schools and township primary schools find it difficult to achieve this ratio.

The day before yesterday, I saw a piece of news, Henan Province's GDP has ranked fifth in the country for many years, and this year it has retreated to the sixth place in the country, Henan's economy is declining at a speed visible to the naked eye, and it may be difficult to complete the "two concentrations" reform under the condition of tight local finances. If the reform of the "two centralizations" is suspended, it will not be difficult, but a financial disaster. First of all, the junior high school will be concentrated in the county seat, and this goal can be implemented in two stages. In the first stage, it is not difficult to abolish the concentration of township middle schools with less than 300 students in the county seat, and at most it is to let the county middle schools return to the "large class system", but the teacher resources are sufficient and will not affect the quality of teaching.

The second step is to complete the concentration of primary schools in the township. In fact, this is not difficult, but it is imperative to rely on courage to abolish all schools with less than 100 students at the village level and merge them into central schools in townships and towns.

The provincial policy document has long been introduced, why is it so slow to implement, is it really "I don't know the true face of Lushan, only because I am in this mountain"? The reform of rural education is no longer waiting for me, and we should do something, and we cannot sit idly by and waste time and the financial and material resources of society in vain.
