In our group of people who study Taijiquan, there is no way to further study how to communicate and discuss Taijiquan from different starting points. The difference is that Tai Chi is the practice of unconscious living beings, while Western physical training is of course a physical behavior under conscious cognition.
We see the behavior of the elderly, their movements are sometimes very agile, these behaviors are unconscious. Young people exercise a lot in a state of consciousness, so they often feel very tired when they encounter the small things in life around them. They don't fit into the unconscious pattern of life. In the past, we understood the reaction speed of Tai Chi as nerve speed, but in fact, Western sports emphasize nerve reflexes.
Our qigong, inner fist, is unconscious. What is the rational kernel of the unconscious? It is not based on muscles and nutrition, therefore, tai chi is not tai chi exercises, and it cannot be conscious gymnastics. The unconscious behavior of Chinese culture is based on the dietary structure of an agrarian society, which is peaceful and indifferent, and for the sake of a house, three generations are entangled with each other, so this peace is a kind of forbearance under social consciousness. Today, society has progressed, however, the conscious behavior of human beings has reached a critical point, industrial production has alienated human beings, and human beings need unconscious life intuition. Therefore, Tai Chi can be the most modern disease.
The core of Taijiquan's life is the essence of the spirit, and the rule of behavior is forbearance, from the consolidation of the essence of the qi to the refining of the refinement of the qi, therefore, it is very simple, the unconscious of Taijiquan is the essence of the spirit, that is, to restrain oneself from one's own sexual behavior, and evolve into the self-perception and self-maintenance of the life system.
Practice, if you can abstain, if you can be self-disciplined, if you can be the master of your own life. We need more than just a medical sperm bank, we need tai chi even more. If you recognize that your life has been completely industrialized, your life is diversified, and your economy and industry are automated—what else is necessary for human beings besides tai chi?
In the future, when we discuss the martial arts techniques and rules of body taijiquan, we must all recognize that the core value of our unconscious state of taijiquan is our own treasure - essence and spirit.
