The exterior of the AMR24 follows Aston Martin's usual British racing green, with plenty of exposed carbon fibre to showcase the car's lightness and performance. Compared to some of the other race cars, the amr24's livery doesn't look monotonous, but is full of the brand's history and features.
This year's Aston Martin team is still driven by Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, both experienced racers and big fans of Aston Martin. Aston Martin's Executive Chairman Lawrence Stroll spoke at the launch about the synergy between the AMR F1 Team and the Aston Martin Road Car.
Today's celebration of high performance also highlights the growing relationship between our track and road projects, with Aston Martin Lagonda now benefiting from the exceptional engineering talent, experience and knowledge forged and harvested in Formula 1, made possible by Aston Martin Performance Technologies. Stroll said.
Aston Martin will be hoping that this year's car will show strong momentum from the start and be able to maintain that advantage, rather than gradually losing it in the second half of the season, as was the case last year. Mike Clark, the team's general manager, said they had already made improvements on last year's car.
We've managed to take a step forward with last year's car," Clark said. "We are very pleased with what we have achieved. Really, that's the first step and this season we want to make sure we have a good platform to develop. That's what we've been really focusing on, and I think we've managed to get there. ”
Aston Martin's AMR24 will be competing against other teams in the 2024 Formula 1 season, and we look forward to seeing what they can do on the track.
