Founded in 1973, the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies organizes the Asian Nutrition Conference every four years, which is the most influential event in the field of nutrition in Asia. With the theme of "Sustainable Nutrition for the Future", the conference brought together more than 600 experts and scholars from more than 40 countries around the world, and nearly 4,000 delegates participated in the conference.
As an important support to meet human health needs, milk and dairy products play a vital role in the whole life cycle. Focusing on the health effects of dairy products and milk-derived nutrition, the sub-forum of "Dairy Nutrition and Health - New Evidence, New Discoveries and New Directions" invited Kalpana Bhaskaran, President of the Singapore Society of Nutrition and Dietetics, Mao Meng, Ph.D. Supervisor of West China Medical Center of Sichuan University, Hamid Jan Bin Jan Mohamed, Professor of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Karen Munday, Senior Research Scientist of Fonterra Group, Zhang Feng, doctoral supervisor of Jiangnan University School of Medicine, and other top scholars at home and abroad have conducted research on dairy products and blood sugar control during pregnancy, the mechanism of human milk oligosaccharide HMOS and nutritional lipids on the early development of infants and young children, and the function of K10 strains and yogurt, providing new arguments and new directions for the research on milk-derived nutrients, dairy products to help the health needs of special populations, and product innovation and application. Among them, Huang Huidong shared the evidence of the clinical application of nutritional lipids, and promoted the transformation of products through formula scientific demonstration, aiming to provide accurate health upgrade solutions for infants and young children.
